for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of
the Arlington Aquatic Club to offer age specific
training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each
individual and developing each individual to the best of their
abilities.

Pre-Competition
Groups
Registration Fee: All
swimmers must pay an annual, non-refundable / non-transferable
Registration Fee of $130. The Registration fee is NOT part
of the program free. The Registration fee includes a USA
swimming membership, an AAC t-shirt, and an AAC cap. For all
Pre-Competition groups,

This is our
most basic skills training program. The program is designed
to introduce young swimmers to the sport of competitive swimming
and offers the skills necessary to begin to learn all four
competitive swim strokes. All swimmers in this program must
be able to swim one full length of the pool (25 yards) without
stopping. This program will focus on improving the
freestyle and backstroke skills and begin the introduction to
breastroke and butterfly swim strokes.

Our beginner level swim program, Gator I is designed for younger
swimmers interested in staying competitive and improving upon their
swimming skills during the winter months. Swimmers must have
a strong freestyle and backstroke to be able to join this group and
possess a basic understanding of breaststroke and butterfly
.
The first session of this program focuses on skills training in
freestyle and backstroke including starts and turns.
The second session continues skills training in freestyle and
backstroke, but will focus on stroke developement for breastroke
and butterfly including starts and
turns.

proficient breaststroke and butterfly. This program is broken
up into two sessions.

Session 2 will cover the short axis strokes, breastroke and
butterfly including instruction on proper starts and
turns.

Our entry-level competitive swim program, this group is designed
for young swimmers with limited competitive experience.
Swimmers must be legal in all four competitive strokes in order to

It is the expectation that swimmers in this group will advance into
our Age Group Program, if they qualify.
