The Atlantis Swimming
Parent’s Association (P.A.) was created in order to establish
clear lines of communication between coaches, staff, swimmers and
parents. All parents with children on the team who are current in
their financial obligations to the swim team are members of the
P.A.
The P.A. has regular meetings throughout the year. All members are
welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.
The Board of Directors works closely with the coaches, staff and
foundation members with respect to any activities or issues
involving the team.
We will be successful as a team only to the extent that we are able
to rely on the volunteer efforts of our team parents. The team and
the foundation has a number of activities throughout the year which
require assistance from parent volunteers; e.g. car wash, summer
picnic, chocolate sale, toys for kids, Halloween party, banquet
awards, dinners, etc. These events are excellent opportunities to
meet and get to know other swimmers and team families.
AT LEAST ONE MEMBER OF EVERY TEAM FAMILY IS ENCOURAGE TO VOLUNTEER
AT ONE OF THE MANY TEAM OR FOUNDATION ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED
THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
