Questions and Answers 

What are my options to Fundraise? There are 4 options in place this fall.

1.    Younkers Coupons: Coupon booklets cost $5. Each booklet contains one coupon for $10 off one item and eight 20% off coupons to be used November 11. The entire five dollars goes to your family fundraising account. The sale is fast approaching, so you must buy coupons soon if you wish to participate.

2.    Ads: Sell Ads for the Snowfox Swim Meet Program. The form for selling ads to businesses is available on-line or from Marla Skadsen each Monday night at the YWCA.

3.  HyVee Gift Cards: Buy HyVee cards and 5% of the value is placed in your family fundraising account. Example buy a $100 gift card and five dollars goes to your family fundraising account. Use HyVee cards to buy groceries, gas and prescriptions. Cards available for purchase every Monday.

4.  Gift Cards from the Great Lake Scrip Company: Buy gift cards from hundreds of companies to use   for you or give as gifts.  You receive the gift card and a percentage (determined by each company) is placed in your account.  Place your order on Monday and receive the cards the next Monday.

 Where do I buy cards, get forms or purchase a Younker’s coupon book?

 Marla Skadsen is at YWCA every Monday.  The Snowfox Web site also has all the forms and information about each of these fundraising options.

 What if I earn more than 100 dollars?

  All family fundraising will go toward meet fees or other account balances for your family.

 How do I know how much money I have earned for my family fundraising account? You will be able to check your account for fundraising credits any time by logging in with your login and password. 

 What if I have an idea other than the 4 options listed to raise money for my family fundraising account? Your ideas and options must be brought to the fundraising committee for approval.

Are there fundraisers for the entire Snowfox Team?  Each year there are a couple of fundraisers that are used to help the Snowfox Swim Team. The money is use to buy equipment or to fund other needs.  Snowfox will be hosting a Silent Auction during the December home meet.  We will be sending out more information about this event.

What if I have an idea to raise money for the Snowfox Team? Please contact Marla Skadsen with your ideas so that we can bring them to the committee.  The fundraising committee welcomes you to join our group. We will be meeting monthly for about an hour. 

Are there any other options to raise money for my family fundraising account? We are going to be selling Butter Braids in late November. Please contact Marla Skadsen if you are interested in this option. Butter Braids are sold for $8. For each butter braid that you sell, three dollars will be placed in your account.
