Discussion about the short course calendar for the 2004-2005 season. The calendar committee can only consider what is in the best interests of the NE Swimming community, they cannot consider the calendar from the high school season and from the YMCA program.

Coach Bernal (BGSC) asked that when a change in date occurs for a NE event, everyone should be notified by the website.Coaches are concerned that when a date is selected for an event, and no one bids on that event, notification should be made by the website so that all teams have equal opportunity to be advised of this, and new interest in potentially hosting that date can be generated.

Ray Grant (SEEK) asked that New England initiate a new policy of letting the NE Swimming community know via the website who has bid on specific dates and championship events, as they come in, and before the bid deadline. The Webmaster and Calendar Committee need to coordinate posting this information.

Discussion regarding there being a fourteen (14) day waiting period after posting a change of date of a meet to allow everyone to have enough time to be notified and re-bid for the event.

Annual Meeting:Fred Catalano (BGSC) presented the draft budget.Review of budget and discussion.
