Dear Sharks Parents,

We thank you for your continued interest and participation in the Rec-Plex Sharks Swim Club.

We hope the attached information gives you a greater understanding of the Sharks’ team and our goals.  The coaching staff is always looking for new methods to make our club the premier swim program in the St Louis area.  Some of these methods are tried and true while others are “outside the box”.  We believe that everything that we have done to this point has helped our swimmers get closer to their personal goals.  This in turn has created a much better team.

In order to raise the bar a little higher, the coaching staff has outlined the goals of each group in the club. We have also defined the criteria needed to move from one level to the next.  The first moves that will take place under these new criteria will be at the end of this coming Long Course season.  To avoid any confusion we will be making some group moves at the beginning of this Long Course season.  Those moves will not be based on the information below.  Again, the first set of moves based on the information contained below will occur at the end of this coming Long Course season.  We highly encourage everyone to review the information contained below so you will have a better understanding of our program and what is expected from each swimmer.

Thank you,

The Rec-Plex Sharks Coaching Staff
