Team Info

Empire Swimming is a competitive swim club and member of USA Swimming and the Metropolitan Swimming Local Swim Committee (LSC).  Empire was formed to serve competitive swimmers ages six and up in the Metropolitan Tri-State area.  Empire has a current roster of approximately 230 swimmers between the ages of 6 and 18.

Empire utilizes three training facilities, all within a manageable commute from most locations in the Tri-State area.  Our youngest swimmers in our developmental group (ages 6-8) swim and our age group (ages 9-12) have the option of training at either the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry or the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY.  Our Xcel senior (12/over) program is based out of the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY, while our elite Xtreme senior group (13/over) makes its home at Ardsley Middle School in Ardsley, NY.  All three facilities are 6-lane, 25-yard pools.

Our coaching staff has over fifty years of combined coaching experience, led by Head Coach Ilan Noach (ASCA Level V) and supported by Michael Ruggiero, Craig McClintock,  Cheryl Blenk, Hajime Ichikawa, Lara Holzman, Jeremy Storm, and Jenn Parra.

Mission & Philosophy

Empire's philosophy of competition and training is one of progression.  Through unparalleled coaching, training and preparation, Empire athletes will succeed by continually challenging themselves to achieve personal bests and move onto the next level of their swimming career and achieve goals both in and out of the water. Our belief is "if you work hard, good things will happen."
