Sharks offer training and practice groups for
swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of our
program to offer age specific training for all of our athletes
geared towards challenging each individual and developing each
individual to the best of their abilities.

This group is for
swimmers who've taken one session of our regular (daily) lesson
program and have basic swim and water safety skills. They will
continue to further develop their swimming and water safety skills
which includes "Humpty Dumpty", "Superman Kick", and "Roll Overs".
Then we develop Freestyle with side breathing and Backstroke plus
introduce Butterfly. They are 30 minute lessons that practice 2
times per week, M/W or T/Th. Leopard Sharks may compete in our
SHARK Races with approval from the coach!

The Sand Shark group is
for swimmers who can swim 50 feet of Freestyle with side breathing
and 50 feet of Backstroke. This group continues to develop the
Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly. Then inroduces Breaststroke
plus Racing Starts and Finishes. They practice for 45 minutes, 2
times per week on M/W or T/Th. Sand Sharks compete in our SHARK
Races!

Pre-Swim Team FUNdamental
Groups: Swimmers in this group must be competent in
Freestyle and Backstroke and will develop all four competitive
strokes, racing skills, introduce endurance training, plus compete
in SHARK RACES! Practices are 45 minutes, 2 times/week on
M/W or T/Th with the option of attending Blue Shark practices on
Friday/Saturdays. And, with coaches’ approval, race in
sanctioned competitions.

Swim Team with FUNdamental &
Competitive Levels: FUNdamental group swimmers are
competent in Freestyle and Backstroke plus have basic knowledge of
Breast & Fly, race in SHARK Races and with coaches’
approval, race in sanctioned competitions. Competitive group
swimmers are legal in all four strokes and race in SHARK Races and
sanctioned competitions. Practices are 1 hour (or more); 3 to 4
times per week.

Swim Team FUNdamental
Group: For Middle School swimmers who have knowledge
of and wish to develop all 4 competitive strokes. Plus, have the
desire to improve and possibly become a competitive swimmer. They
race in SHARK Races and with coaches’ approval, in sanctioned
competitions. 1 to 1.5 hour practices, 2 to 4 times per
week.

competitions. 1 to 1.5 hour practices; 3 to 5 times per
week.

Swim Team "Elite" Competitive
Group: Our elite “age group” competitive
swimmers who have committed to the sport, are competent in all 4
strokes, plus are mentally and physically capable of handling the
rigors of training and competitive swimming. Swimmers in this group
are striving for personal excellence and the highest levels in
swimming. A Swimmer, Parent, Coach Meeting is required for
admittance. Swimmers race in SHARK Races and sanctioned
competitions. Practices are 2 or more hours; 5-8 times per
week.

Swim
Team "Elite" Competitive Group: Our elite “senior” competitive
swimmers who have committed to the sport, excel in all 4 strokes,
and are mentally and physically capable of handling the rigors of
training and competitive swimming. Swimmers in this group are
striving for personal excellence and the highest levels in swimming
and are held to the highest level of personal responsibility. A
Swimmer, Parent, Coach Meeting is required for admittance. Swimmers
race in limited SHARK Races and sanctioned competitions. Practices
are 2 to 5 hours; 9 times per week including
2-a-days.

Adult/Masters Group : This group is for
adults with basic swim skills desiring to improve and keep in
shape. Practices are MWF 5:00 - 7:00 AM and 12:00 noon -1:30 pm AND
some Saturdays, 7:00-8:00 am!
