Management Team

Lynn Oliver – President / Co Founder
I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Accounting and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant shortly after graduation.  I began my accounting carrier at Freddie Mac, eventually becoming a Senior Manager in the Corporate Accounting Department
In 2004, I became a stay at home mother for my three children and co-founded LetSwim Incorporated.  As President as well as Treasurer, my principle focus Strategic Corporate planning, Accounting, Human Resources as well as Payroll.  In addition, I oversee the daily management and oversight of staff for communities assigned to me.
I am a life-long leisure swimmer. My children all swim competitively year round, and as such I have become a USA Swimming/Potomac Valley Swimming certified Stroke & Turn Judge, Starter, Chief Judge, and Referee Apprentice. Additionally, I have been a member of ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association) since 2007. Although not a coach this membership has allowed me to keep abreast of the most recent techniques utilized by coaches across the world as well as attend annual training seminars. I have taught group and private swim lessons for LetSwim since 2006 for children ages 6 months to 10 years of age. Currently my focus is on the daily management of the company.
Tamara Yaunches - Retired Co Founder

A lifelong swimmer since the age of 5, I never thought my career would involve swimming. It was only after I decided to stay home with my kids that I got involved with my community swim team that was just getting organized. A few short years later I discovered that the pool was my calling and I started my new career.

I have taught and coached at several levels over the last 12 years including:  Learn-to-Swim, Summer League Swim Teams , USA Swimming Teams and US Masters.  I am a USA Swimming Certified Coach and have obtained my American Swim Coaches Association Level 3 Education Certification.  I started our community’s swim team in 2005 and continue coaching both at the Age Group as well as High School levels.

Tamara retired from playing an active role in the daily manangement of the company in 2010 when her family relocated to Iowa.  Tamara has since returned to the Northern Virginia area but is pursuing other career opportunities.  She is currently the Corporate Aquatics Director with Sport&Health.
