profit organization, is run by an elected Board of Directors that
meets regularly. All members are welcome at each meeting and
encouraged to be involved in team activities and

click here to contact us. We also hold an annual Open House
event to invite novice and experienced swimmers. The open house is
held usually around spring, and is announced on our Facebook page.
The swim novice program runs around 8 weeks and is a way to welcome
swimmers and their families to the Islander swim community.
After the novice program ends, swimmers are welcome to continue in
our year-round swim season. Refer to the membership handbook on the
page for volunteer requirements and other info.
For the rest of the year,
interested swimmers are welcome to contact our membership
chair person to arrange an appointment to be assessed by our coach.

assessment are able to join our swim community.
Swimmers must pass our coach's evaluation in order to join the
team. We expect swimmers to be capable of demonstrating basic
competency in order to join the Islanders. (e.g. swim 25 yards
freestyle). Therefore, if your child
needs beginner swim lessons, please contact the nearest swim
