About IEAQ

Inland Empire Aquatics and it's history begins with the East Highlands Ranch Swim Team. The East Highland Ranch Dolphins started in 1992 as a summer only recreational team that swam as part of a summer homeowners association league.  The team began with only 26 swimmers and has grown to carry more than 100 competitive swimming members per year.

In 1996, the summer recreational league disbanded, leaving East Highlands Ranch Swim Team with no one to swim against.  In the late summer of 1996 the team swam three meets against the San Bernardino YMCA.  With no other competition for the summer some swimmers began swimming in USA swimming meets.  This marked the begining of East Highlands swimmers qualifying for So Cal Swimming Summer JO's.  The team has had swimmers qualify every year since then.

1998 the Dolphins began completing in the San Gorgonio Swim League.  It took two years to win our first dual meet but we had quite a few swimmers win at the league championships and qualify for league All-Stars.  Since 2000 EHRD had grown to over 100 swimmer in the summer

In the summer of 2014, East Highlands Ranch Swim Team expanded in an effort to provide quality coaching, a safe and fun environment, and a family atmosphere to the larger community at an affordable price for all families.  Thus, Inland Empire Aquatics was born.  The IEAQ Admirals are committed to educating the community in water safety as well as provide services and training for athletes of all levels and backgrounds.

The team competes in the San Gorgonio Summer League beginning in April and ending in June or July each year.  The Admirals have been league champions for many years in a row because of dedicated swimmers, parents and coaches. IEAQ also competes in USA Swim Meets year round and travels to locations all over California and Nevada.

The programs mission is to train swimmers to compete in high school and beyond. The team has been providing quality swimmers to high schools all over San Bernardino County.
