Islanders Aquatics has an awesome Masters program for swimmers age 18 and older!  The group is diverse and consists of fitness swimmers, triathletes, and competitive swimmers.  Practices are adapted to meet the needs of all swimmers from beginner to advanced.  

Practices are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30-7:00 am at Sayville Middle School.  Saturday morning practices are 6:30-8:00 am at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood.
The current session runs September through the first week in August.  Open water training sessions will be offered in July and August.  
 
Membership fees are as follows:
$60 monthly
$175 for 3 months
$275 for 5 months (March-July)
Payment is acceptable as cash or a check to Amy Taylor.
 
New swimmers must be registered with USMS before starting practice.  You can click here http://www.usms.org/reg/register.php to register.  Be sure to bring a copy of your registration to your first free trial practice.  If you have any questions email Amy at trail2shore@icloud.com.  Coach Amy and the group look forward to meeting you!
 
About the Coach 
Coach Amy has been coaching swimming for over 20 years. She has coached at the age group, high school, and Masters levels. She has experience with all skill levels from beginners to professionals. 

Amy is a USMS certified coach who specializes in teaching all 4 competitive strokes. She has attended countless coaching clinics where she has built upon her extensive knowledge of the sport. Amy also has expertise in open water swimming and triathlon training. She has an outstanding feel for the water and is gifted in teaching others to feel, appreciate, and move the water (the secrets to fast swimming)! 

An accomplished athlete herself, Amy's passion lies in sharing her experiences and love of the sport with her swimmers. She is thankful for all the sport has done for her and takes joy in seeing how swimming enhances the lives of others.

Amy has a Masters Degree in Education. She currently works at Block Chiropractic Sports and Physical Therapy as a Receptionist and Aide. She enjoys sharing her passion for sports, health, and wellness with patients and staff. When Amy is not working, coaching, and training, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Pete and their beloved pitbull, Tilda.
