About USA

The United Swim Association (USA) is very excited to be celebrating our EIGHTH year of operation. Our team trains swimmers from various communities throughout Central Ohio. Our swimmers range in ages from 6 to 18, and every swimmer enjoys a positive, family-structured swim program.

USA Swim Team has a volunteer parent board — parents who are concerned about providing constructive, competitive, and non-competitive swim programs for their children. Our swim team is a positive outlet and helps to build life skills for the swimmers.

United Swim Association Club Mission
Our mission is simple: To support and promote competitive swimming throughout Central Oho. We provide services for our members, supporters, affiliates and the interested public.  The United Swim Association exists to:

  1. Provide a safe and positive environment for all members

  2. Teach life skills to its athletes

  3. Encourage swimmers to reach their full potential while having fun

  4. Train swimmers in stroke technique, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, and racing

Our Story
The United Swim Association (USA) was founded in 2009, so our story is still being written…

USA is a United States Swimming sanctioned year round competitive swim club offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for age group and high school swimmers of all abilities.  We also offer a Non-competitive swim program for swimmers who are new to the sport, summer swimmers, or multi-sport athletes who want train with a swim program.

The club’s philosophy focuses around each individual swimmer’s development of stoke technique, training capacity, and most importantly, developing a life-long enjoyment of the sport. We strive to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to national competitor.

All of our coaches, are members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. Our Coaches provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

The United Swim Association is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.  The club is run by a Board of Directors, which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities.

We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well-rounded competitive swim team.  USA’s commitment is to maintain a low coach to swimmer ratio and provide each swimmer an opportunity to meaningfully interact with the Coaches.  Our smaller team and family friendly environment make being a part of this team a lot of fun for all members of the family.

Interested swimmers or parents are encourage to contact us.  Interested swimmers may also join us for a practice or in water evaluation.
