The Rochester Rapids Swim Team (RRST) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting competitive swimming in the City of Rochester. The team is run by a Board of Directors consisting of parent volunteers. RRST is a member of the Niagara District of USA Swimming, the governing body for amateur competitive swimming in the United States. The Niagara District encompasses most of western New York. RRST is also a member of the Genesee Valley Swim League of Rochester.

Team Structure:

RRST is divided into five groups: Age Group Levels 1-4 and Senior Team. This is done so that children will practice with other swimmers of similar ability, as well as have an incentive for improvement. The coaching staff is solely responsible for determining within which group a swimmer will practice. The coaches will communicate directly their expectations for all swimmers.

The times provided within the "Groups and Practice Times" tab indicate when the swimmer will be IN the water, so please allow extra time before and after for drop off, changing clothes, etc.
