About Our Team

2020 Olde Atlanta Club Orcas!

Olde Atlanta Club, a residential neighborhood of 632 homes, is located in South Forsyth County and home to the Olde Atlanta Club Orcas recreational swim team.

We are comprised of approximately 140-150 swimmers, aged 3 to 18, who enjoy the recreational sport of swimming.

These swimmers represent our neighborhood in spirited competition within our county by competing in 5 home and away meets during the regular season (May and June) as well as the Forsyth County Championships held at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center at the end of June or beginning of July. Many of our swimmers go on to compete in the State Swimming Championships held late July.

Swimming is an excellent source of personal fitness and exercise.

Here in Olde Atlanta Club, we provide our youth with an affordable summer swimming experience that includes a positive competition environment while improving a child's stroke, leadership, and responsibility. Our goal is for the kids to become proficient swimmers while having a lot of fun meeting up with old friends and making new ones! They work hard all summer to improve their individual time, which in turn contributes to the overall success of the team.

We have a Junior Orcas program for children under the age of 5 who are learning to swim and will become our future Orcas. Our policy is to promote the practice of hiring within our organization. Older, seasoned swimmers, who also compete on the team, coach the Junior Orcas program.

Olde Atlanta Club renovated the pool area in 2013 and is one of the top selling communities in South Forsyth.

GO ORCAS!
