The Eagle Aquatic Team (EAT) is committed to providing an enjoyable and complete swimming experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities. It is the tradition of EAT to provide a challenging and positive teaching and training environment in which swimmers can develop a sense of self-esteem and pride through individual and team achievement. EAT is additionally committed to excellence in performance and we train our swimmers to achieve their potential regardless of the level of competition.
Through participation with the EAT program, swimmers will be taught personal responsibility and accountability, sportsmanship, and citizenship through positive reinforcement and recognition of the individual’s pursuit towards accomplishing defined goals. EAT is a team that cares for the welfare of all its members.
The role of EAT is to promote interest in, develop and encourage competitive swimming for the benefit of swimmers of all ages and abilities, in accordance with the standards and under the rules prescribed by the Federation International Nation Association (FINA), USA Swimming, and Utah Swimming, Inc. EAT works to foster team spirit, closeness and sportsmanship, and to support the activities of the team.
