The MLA Mission

Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics is a facility owned, nationally ranked USA Swimming program focused on creating opportunities for our student-athletes.  We maintain an inviting, positive, and creative environment which respects diversity, instills confidence, and celebrates hard work.

Who We Are

MLA is a proud member of USA Swimming and as a club-member of Michigan Swimming.  USA Swimming is our National Governing body, with Michigan Swimming being our Local Swim Committee (LSC).  We are a year-round competitive swimming program that is fortunate to call one of the country's finest facilities, the Holland Community Aquatic Center (HCAC) our home for meets and practices.

In 2017, MLA was again selected as a Bronze Medal Club in USA Swimming's Club Excellence program.  The program identifies and recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to performance excellence. This program strives to meet the following objectives:

Promote the development of strong, well-rounded age group and senior swimming programs that produce elite 18 & under athletes;

Provide recognition and resources to motivate and assist member clubs  to strive for the highest ideals of athlete performance.
