PHILOSOPHY
Murray Aquatic Club is a year-round
competitive swim program that offers instruction and training for
swimmers of all levels and abilities. MAC is committed to
promoting the sport of swimming in an energetic competitive
atmosphere. MAC provides the opportunity to help individuals
achieve excellence, not just in sports, but in life.
Being part of Murray Aquatic Club, swimmers will
foster self-discipline, self-confidence, responsibility,
perseverance, good sportsmanship, and teamwork. These traits
can produce world-class citizens, as well as world-class athletes!
Swimmers learn to strive for excellence, and to face

Fitness
Swimming helps develop high quality aerobic endurance, flexibility,
coordination, and muscle strength, thus building a strong
foundation for a lifetime of good health.
Character
Development
Being part of a swim team fosters
self-discipline, self-confidence, responsibility, perseverance,
good sportsmanship, and teamwork. These traits can produce

Building
Relationships
Many close friendships have had their beginnings
at our pools, not just between swimmers, but between their families
as well. Becoming involved with Murray Aquatic Club will promote
closeness within the family unit, and community as parents commit
to helping swimmers achieve their goals.
MISSION
The mission of Murray Aquatic Club is to
empower every swimmer, regardless of age or ability, to reach his
or her highest personal potential, both as an athlete and as a
person.
