Corry Day (Head Coach

Coach Day is in his
8th year as head coach of the ISB Panther Swim Team. He began
his swimming career at the age of 5, swimming for the Nipawin Lions
Swim Club, where he later became a coach. During his 16 years as a
competitive swimmer, he represented Saskatchewan at the Western
Summer Games, and was part of the Regina Laser Swim Club and Seoul
Masters Swimming.
Coach Day has achieved his level
5 Certified Coach with ASCA (American Swim Coach Association).
He has also worked with the Regina Lasers, the University of
Regina, the Seoul Masters and the Shanghai American School as
Varsity Head Coach.
Coach Day brings to ISB a strong
international swimming and coaching background as well as expertise
in the science and physiology of sports, gained as an exercise
therapist working with athletes from the Canadian Track and Field
Team, the Canadian Football League and the NHL. Throughtout his
carreer he has earned a Bachelors Degree in Excercise Physiology
and Education, along with a Masters Degree in
Education.
Ratapong Sirisanont (Assistant
Head Coach Nuk) [email protected]
Coach Nuk has been with
ISB for 11 years now. He is a 4 time Olympic swimmer for
Thailand; specializing in the Individual Medley and
Breaststroke events. After attending Prep School
swimming power Bowles Academy, he graduated from University of
California at Berkeley in 2001 and competed in the NCAA Division 1
Championships 4 times. As a coach, he was Thailand National
Coach for the Southeast Asian Age Groups Championships in 2006 and
2007 as well as being District 10 Coach for the Thailand Youth
games and National Games in 2007. He brings excellent
experience and enthusiasm to our program. Coach Nuk is the
Assistant Head Coach and is also our main liaison to the Thailand
Swim Association.
Coach Nuk is a level 2 ASCA Certified
Coach.
Neeranuch
Chantrakulchote (Coach
Nuch) [email protected]
This is Coach Nuch's
5th year with the swim team. She is an 8 and under, Middle
School coach for the Panthers. Her past experience (Certified by
ASCTA) includes Vision Swimming Academy and Satit Pattana
School.
Coach Nuch is a multi
sport athlete and coach. She has also worked as Assistant diving
coach at Thammasat University (Affiliated to Thailand Swimming
Association).
As a University and High
School athlete she competed in both Diving and Swimming at
Thammasat University. Coach Nuch is also a Level 2 Certified
ASCA Coach.
Chavisa Thaveesupsoonthorn
(Coach Noey) [email protected] Coach Noey joined our
PST coaching staff in 2014 and is excited to work with our
swimmers. She represented Thailand as a Thai National Swimmer for
10 years. Specializing in the Individual Medley and Backstroke
events, she competed in both the 2004 and 2008 Olympic games. She
moved to the US to attend college, swimming as a Division I (NCAA)
athlete for the University of Nevada, Reno, where she recently
graduated. She has also earned her Level 4 Swim Coach
Certification from the American Swimming Coach Association
(ASCA).
Kittipong
Kaewkarinkanok(coach Benz) [email protected]
Coach Benz is in his 3rd
year with the Panther Swim Team. He coaches 9&10 squads and
Middle School. He comes to us from The American School of Bangkok.
Benz spent 6 years with ASB and the head coach of that program.
Before ASB, Benz coached with Shrewsbury for 2 years. Before
entering the international school world, Coach Benz was an assitant
coach for 3 years with Parchanivet Swim Club.
As a swimmers Benz
competiting for Thailands National team at the 2003/09 SEA Games
and the 2007/05/ Asian Games. He also competed at the University
Games and Thailand National Championships.
Coach Benz is a American
Swim Coach Level 2 and will be working towards his level 3 with the
rest of our coaching staff over the next year.
Coach
Nat (Preyanuch Chantrakulchote)

Coach
Nat is entering her 5th year as a ISB Coach and has been
working with our 8 and under swimmers.
As a
swimmer, Coach Nat competed at the University Games on 3 different
occassions from 2007-2009. She graduated from Assumption University
and began coaching with the Thai Canadian Community Sports Club and
Vision Swim Academy.
Nat is
a Level 2 ASCA (American Swim Coach Assoication) Coach.
Paween Skulgunbundit (Coach Paul) [email protected]
Also starting his
5th year with ISB, Coach Paul has worked with 10 and under
swimmers. He also is supervisor for the Super Jr and Jr Panther
squads.
Coach Paul started his
swimming at age of six. He graduated from St.Gabriels’
College and Thammasat University. As a swimmer, he represented for
Thailand’s SEA age group for many years and also competed in
University Games. For the past few years, he assisted for coach at
St.Gabriels’ College. He is now starting his second year at
ISB Panther Swim Team and currently holding a Level 2 ASCA
(American Swim Coach Association) coach. He also has Water Safety
Instructor Certificate which is to teach beginning level swimmer.
Akiko Nagamine (Coach
Akiko) [email protected]
Coach Akiko has been a
part of the ISB swim team landscape for many years. She was a four
year ISB swimmer herself and graduated in 2004. Since her
employment with ISB as an Elementary Teacher, she has been a
Varsity Assistant Coach.
Last year she decided to increase her commitment
to the team by teaching all 3 seasons with the High School
team.
Coach Akiko is also a Level 2 Certified ASCA
Coach.
Jiratida
Phinyosophon (Coach Jan)

This is Coach
4th year with ISB and coaches our upper 8 and under &
Middle School squads.
As a swimmer
she represented Thailand as a national swimmer for almost
7 years. Her career highlight was recieving a gold medal
for individual women’s 200-meter freestyle at 23rd Southeast Asian Games 2005 at
Philippines which I could use this successful to qualify to 15th Asian Game 2006 at Qatar and
FINA World Championship.
She has studied in New Zealand and has
earned a MBA from Bangkok University.
Coach Jan is also a Level 2 Certified ASCA
Coach.
Sansupak Sakdee (Coach Mon)

Coach Mon is now
entering his 4th year here at ISB. Coach Mon specializes in
developing new swimmers to competitive swimming. He comes to
us from St. Andrews Sukumvit where he has been a coach and PE
Aquatics for 9 years.
As a swimmer he competed with
Srinakharinwirot University here in Thailand where he was a middle
distance freestyler.
Coach Mon is a early years specialist and
loves working with our younger developmental
swimmers.
Pakhawan Kasemsedthi (Coach
Gibby) [email protected]
Coach Gibby is entering her 7th
year here at ISB. She is our Super Jr. Panther specialists and she
knows how to best get our smallest Panther Swimmers on the right
path.
Before ISB she was part of the
coaching team at The Royal Bangkok Sports Club for 12 years. She
has had numerous other coaching positions both her in Thailand
as well as over seas in Australia.
Coach Gibby specializes in our
newest Panther Swimmers. She has the very important position of
helping our newbie swimmers learn what it means to be a competitive
swimmers while acquiring all the foundational swimming skills
they will need for the rest of their swimming career.
