SWIM MEETS:

MEET ATTENDANCE IS ENCOURAGED:  this is a competitive swimming program and meets are the way we measure and evaluate improvements.  Not every swimmer will qualify for every meet due to time standards.  There are enough meets, however, without standards for all CWW members to participate.  Please make every effort to attend the “Team Effort” meets for which you qualify.  All swimmers that qualify or are deemed “ready” to compete at a swim meet will have their events selected by the coaching staff.  It is up to the Member to decline or “un-declare” by the posted deadline for a meet that cannot be attended.  Once the entries have been submitted to the host team, the Member is responsible for payment of entry fees.  USA meets charge an entry fee of $3-5 per event.
