Welcome to the San Ramon
San Ramon Aquacats Mission Statement
The San Ramon Aquacats Swim Club is a recreational swim team in
the San Ramon area. The Aquacats volunteer parent board of
directors and the coaching staff shall focus on building a swim
team, based on a philosophy that encourages values consistent with
our community, which favors inclusion and personal development of
all active members regardless of age or ability; encourages a sound
balance between athletics, team spirit and good sportsmanship; and
maintains a high-quality, personalized approach to coaching the
swimmers at all levels. All swimmers shall be made to feel
welcome to practice and participate as active swimming members of
the Aquacats. Individual skill development, goal setting,
recreational competition, team building, and most importantly, fun
are all stressed. Each swimmer will be encouraged to work toward
his or her full potential, and will be made to feel a part of the
team. Our mission is to instill lifelong skills and a love of
swimming in each of our members.
The San Ramon Aquacats Swim Club, a nonprofit organization, is
run by a volunteer Board of Directors which meets each month. All
parents of swimmers are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to
be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
- Our Summer Recreational Swim season begins in April and
continues through the end of July. For those with qualifying
times, the season can extend through early-August with the County
Championship Invitational. Season fees include Spring and
Summer practices and all dual meets. (Additional fees apply
for optional invitational meets.)
- Our Fall Swim Program is an extension of the Rec season and
runs September through December. Fall program fees are
separate from Summer program fees.
- Spring Clinics run for 3 weeks in March. This is a great
way to get back into swimming shape after a break from the pool
during the winter. Spring Clinics are not included in season
- Registration begins in January for returning families.
All new swimmers must be evaluated by our coaches before a spot on
the team can be offered.
- The San Ramon Aquacats reserve the right to not allow a swimmer
onto the team.
Since we are a Recreational Swim Team, swimmers who
have trained with a USA swim program after December 31,
are not eligible for this program.

events and parties throughout the season. Our primary method
of communication with the team is through e-mail and the
