Welcome to the Baierl Family YMCA Sharks!

We are a YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) Competitive Swimming Program, which means that in line with YMCA core values, we will strive to develop your young swimmers physically and emotionally as young adults, and prepare them to be responsible individuals embodying the traits and characteristics of future citizens who, in turn, can and will share their own healthy and inspired future contributions with their community.

We aim to develop your young swimmers – through the medium of competitive swimming – within a positive and supporting coaching environment, one that recognizes the innate courage and resilience of children to learn and grow, and to become more than what they were – as a person, as a young leader, as a swimmer - the day before.  We will celebrate their commitment, and their achievements, and we will celebrate your support for the path you’ve chosen to embark them upon to become not only better swimmers, but better and more-prepared contributors to the societies they will enrich.

On behalf of the leadership, aquatics staff, and swim coaches of the Baierl Family YMCA, thank you for bringing your youth to us, and we look forward to working with them on our journey towards the Y mission goals of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility – via swimming faster!

If you have questions related to workouts, meets, events, goal setting, and other swimming related needs, please contact one of the coaches!
