"My husband's company wanted to transfer him from Hastins to Clariron, so they showed us around the area before we finally moved.   We looked at other townships too, but Bethel Park was so friendly, letting the girls try a day at school.  Bill Kennedy welcomed us to the BP swimming family with open arms.  We  originally came for two years and we're still here so i think it's been a success!"

From 2000-2013 Coach Jane was the head coach of the 8 and under team.   In 2013, after some group adjustments, she became the head coach of the Bronze and Silver teams.

She is also the pround mother of two daughers, Susi and Charlotte, who swam age group and high school for BP and both swam in college and for massters teams.

"Watching a young child gain self confidence from swimming, the improvements they make from day to day, having a positive influence on youngsters, listening to the funny things they say.  Every day is different when you're a swim coach.  Seeing children I coached when they were 6 going off to swim in college, watching the love a child has for the water, these are a few of my favorite things!"
