This is coach Jason's ninth year as Head Coach.  As a Senior coach, his swimmers have qualified for meets such as Speedo Grand Challenge, LA Invite, Sectionals, Futures and Junior Nationals.  As an age group coach, he has developed team record holders and finalists at Far Westerns and Western Zones.

He was the head coach of the Visalia Buccaneers during the summers of 2011-2012, placing 5th at CVRSL (the highest place in team history).   He was also the El Diamante High School water polo & swim coach (2010-2015).  As a high school coach, Jason has coached multiple WYL league champions, CIF "Valley" champions and Visalia's first "State" qualifier.

As a swimmer, Jason has an extensive background in club swimming as can be determined by his long standing team records and his Central California Swimming relay records that are still in existence.  Jason is a local product of the Visalia Area Swim Team (VAST).    Jason has competed internationally at the age group level.  His achievements at the age group level include All Stars, Far Westerns, Western Zones and being nationally recognized as a "Top 16" swimmer in the nation in multiple individual and relay events.  As a senior swimmer, Jason qualified for Junior Nationals & the US Open.

Jason was also a four year varsity swimmer and water polo player at Redwood High School (1996-2000) and was a WYL swimming and water polo champion, CIF D-I Central Section champion, All-American, and part of Redwood High School's back-to-back D-I Valley championship swim team.

When he's not coaching, his interests include backpacking, camping, travelling and talking with his swimmers about good food.
