CAC Coaching Staff

All of our coaches are required to: pass two background checks; a drug test; be certified by USA Swimming's training & Safe Sport program; pass state-mandated concussion training, and maintain water safety training, first aid, AED, and CPR certifications.

One on one meetings with the coach are encouraged so we can 1) meet each other; 2) better understand each other; and 3) develop a plan that will be beneficial & achievable. We would hope to cover things like swimming history / experience; personality & motivators; short & long term goals; expectations from both sides; practices; rules, etc.

It is my hope you will be open to doing this, and staying active & involved with our team. Family support and
involvement is one of the biggest assets an athlete can rely upon
. Regular good, open communication
with the coach is critical. The team can achieve more with parental involvement. Any issues are open from goals, health, training, practices, expectations, etc.  It is encouraged that each swimmer AND their parent try to schedule at least one or more meetings.  Developing a personal relationship with each swimmer on the team is a priority and can make for an easier, smoother experience when communication is open, and expectations are set.
