Jamie Barone

Head Coach


A native of Stamford, Connecticut, Jamie has been coaching swimming at various levels for the last 15 years.  Barone enters his fourth year at CP-AC, proudly noting the program’s first Olympic Trials qualifier, as well as having two more athletes qualify for USA Swimming’s Summer Junior National Championship this last year.  He has worked with local summer clubs, age group, high school, and professional swimmers. Before starting CPAC, Barone spent two years at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, running a group of up and coming high school age swimmers under the tutelage of ASCA Hall of Fame Coach Bob Bowman and National Junior Team Head Coach Scott Armstrong.

As a swimmer, Jamie trained under Bowman at NBAC for three years, and again at Club Wolverine in Michigan in 2006. He competed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Trials, was ranked in the top 100 globally in the breast stroke events for three years and was awarded the Rookie of the Meet trophy at the 2003 Summer National Championships. He won a National Championship in 2006 in the 4X100 Medley Relay.

Jamie is responsible for establishing the vision of the Chelsea Piers Aquatics programs, which include everything from learn-to-swim to training techniques/curriculum for the CPAC swim team.

Kailey Morris

Head Age Group Coach


Kailey is beginning her fourth year with the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club’s Swim Team. In the past three years, she has worked primarily with the Age Group program and has helped coach swimmers 6-14 years old. Kailey has worked with CT State Champions, USA Swimming Sectionals qualifiers, a USA Swimming Junior National qualifier, and a four time USA Swimming National Age Group Record Holder.

Previously to moving to Connecticut, Kailey spent 2 years (2010-2012) coaching with North Baltimore Aquatic Club. She worked with various age groups within the club and was most recently in charge of coaching swimmers 13-16 years old. From 2010-2012, Kailey also coached with Loyola University. In her 2 years with the Greyhounds, the Men's team became the Metro Athletic Conference Champions (2011). In addition, Loyola had both a male (2011 and 2012) and female swimmer (2012) named Swimmer of the Year for the conference.

As a swimmer at Penn State, Kailey was an NCAA qualifier and three-time honorable mention All-American. In multiple events, she ranks in the top three in Penn State's history. She is a graduate of the Smeal College of Business where she majored in marketing and was a two-time academic all-big ten. As a former member of North Baltimore Aquatic Club, Kailey was ranked in the top 50 in the world in the 200 Butterfly. She competed at the 2008 Olympic Trials in multiple events where she finished in the top 25 and the 2009 World Championship Trials where she swam in the Consolation Finals in multiple events.

Brennan Morris

Assistant Head Age Group and Senior Coach


Brennan has been coaching at Chelsea Piers since June 2013.  He has worked with swimmers of all ages and ability levels.  Brennan is the head coach of the Senior Red Group, consisting of high school aged swimmers, as well as the Age Group Yellow Group.  


He graduated from Loyola University Maryland in Spring 2013, where he majored in International Business and was the captain of the Loyola University Men's Swim Team his senior year.  A 3-time swimmer of the year in the Metro Athletic Conference, Brennan has trained under multiple National team coaches, including 3 years with Bob Bowman at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club. Brennan was a former National Age group record holder in the 1650 Yard Freestyle for 13-14 year olds. He went on to compete at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Trials and was a multi time National finalist in the 400 IM and 1500 Freestyle. Brennan was a member of the 2009 World Championship team, where he competed in the 1500 Freestyle in Rome, Italy.

Jimmy Voyages

Head Gray Group Coach/Assistant coach


James (Jimmy) Voyages joined the CP-AC Aquatics Team in 2013. James started swimming on club teams at the age of six and continued throughout high school. He is a Stamford native who attended King Low Heywood Thomas School and went on to study physics and mathematics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.



After working with the pre-team and stroke development programs, James is excited to begin coaching the CP-AC Swim Team. In the summer, James is the head coach of the swim team at Tokeneke Beach Club located in Darien. We are excited to have James’ energy and dedication to helping young swimmers. 


Igor Vulesevic

Assistant Swim Coach

Born and raised in Serbia, Igor came to the United States four years ago to pursue academic and athletic excellence at the University of Bridgeport. Prior to his arrival, Igor was a member of the Serbian National Team, participant on the Junior European Championships in Finland and Prague, and a medalist at the Balkan Championships. On a national stage, Igor has been training and competing with many Olympians including some of today’s top Serbian swimmers. Before deciding to continue his education in Connecticut, Igor won multiple National Titles and set four Serbian National records.

At the University of Bridgeport, Igor continued to advance, winning the 400 IM at the DIV II East Conference Championships and setting school records in the 200 back and 400 IM.

Igor enjoys being surrounded with athletes and loves sports. He is dedicated to facilitating technical improvements of our swimmers with a methodical approach. CP-AC Swimming is excited to have Igor’s energy and desire to learn.
