Tassos has a tremendous amount of coaching experience. He began coaching in 1973 at his alma mater Western Hills High School in Cincinnati and has coached at various facilities and organizations since. 

Notably, Tassos was the Head Coach at Xavier University for 13 years. 

When he coached at the Lakota YMCA, he built the program from 36 swimmers to 122 swimmers in one year! 

He earned Coach of the Year for the Miami Valley Conference in 2012 when coaching for the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.

This past summer his team at YMCA Powel Crosley in Cincinnati placed 19th out of 169 teams at the YMCA National Meet. He was instrumental in coaching swimmer Jonathan Rutter to a National Record in the 200 meter breaststroke!

Tassos has experience starting masters programs and growing swim team programs. He has experience coaching every level of swimmer with ambition for the local to the national level goal!

This year at the Kentucky Swimming House of Delegates, Coach Misinay was elected Kentucky Age-Group Coach of the Year 2015! We are so proud of Coach Misinay for this accomplishment!

I have always had a love of the water and swimming. I am proud and excited to bring my knowledge and passion for  learning to the Lake Cumberland Swim Team. 

I moved to Kentucky from Hammond, Indiana, in April 2011, to marry my husband Tom Davis. I was the Aquatic Director, in Indiana, at the Hammond Branch YMCA, for 11 years. I worked with students of all ages from infant  to adult, teaching them the skills of swimming and water safety. 

I have 2 children and an extended family that includes 2 more children. 

I am a proud Grandma of 11 grandchildren. We attend Liberty Baptist Church and I am blessed to have the   opportunity to continue sharing  my passion with this team.
