Kathleen Klein
Prindle has been an
inspirational coaching presence in South Florida for two decades. A
former competitive swimmer from northeastern Pennsylvania and a
1993 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, she
offers more than 40 years of aquatics experience as both
athlete and coach. Prindle is an ASCA
Level 5 coach, the highest level attainable (held by the top
2-5% of swimming coaches). In 2015 and in 2018, Prindle was
inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame for her
contributions to the sport.
Prindle was
recruited, trained, and mentored by six-time Olympic coaching
legend
Michael Lohberg. With intense focus on stroke mechanics and the
use of scientific training methods such as Blood Lactate testing
during her tenure, Kathleen and Michael created a proven record of
success with swimmers at all levels including eight Olympians, one
world-record holder, two American record-holders, eight FHSAA State
(high school) champions, and nine All-American
swimmers.
Prindle has coached
multiple local athletes to JO, Zone, Sectional Championship,
Florida State Championship, and US Junior National/Sr National
Championship titles. Many of her swimmers are Academic
All-Americans and have furthered their careers at the Collegiate,
National, and International/ World Championship/ Olympic levels.
Kathleen is a 3x USA Olympic Trials Coach (2008, 2012, 2016), World
Championships Coach (2014, 15), 4x Olympic private coach (2008,
2012, 2016, 2020/1). In the most recent quad, PAQ Swimming
was AGAIN the only team in the area to qualify an athlete for
the Tokyo 2020(1) OLYMPIC GAMES! Currently, Kathleen
is preparing athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympic
Quad.
Prindle also works
with other professional athletes including tri-athletes,
pentathletes, baseball players, and PGA tour members, using
aquatics as a cross-training technique to finesse their athletic
performances. Prindle was the founding Head Coach of the Hoboken
Hurricanes Swim Team in New Jersey (at Stevens Institute of
Technology). She has taught and coached swimming throughout
Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Virginia, and at
Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
In addition to her work
on deck, Prindle is active in governance of the sport. She is
currently serving a 4-year elected term on the USA Swimming
Board of Directors, is the former Vice -President of the American
Swim Coaches Association, the Finance Vice-Chair of the Florida
Gold Coast Board of Directors, and volunteers her time with
several additional industry-related organizations. Locally,
Prindle has been a featured guest lecturer at Lynn University
and at American Red Cross events, and a consultant for multiple
swim programs. She has been a featured speaker at International
Coaching Clinics, and the USA-Swimming Convention. She lends her
expertise to the Grandview Preparatory School in Boca Raton, FL, as
the Aquatics Administrator and Varsity Boys’ and Girls
Head Coach since 2003. At Grandview, she developed the Lower School
Physical Education curriculum and instituted Middle School swimming
as a funded sport. Prindle is also past Chair and still
serves on the FHSAA Advisory Board (the governing body for
high school sports in Florida),
Prindle is driven by a
desire to help every athlete achieve their athletic goals. Through
intense focus on technical proficiency, providing resources, and
managing a positive and professional enviroment, Prindle's positive
coaching style helps illuminate some of life's lessons as athletes
pursue success in the pool. She sees tremendous value in
interacting with her swimmers with laughter and kindness, to create
an environment where every success is possible.

JOSIAH MORALES - LEAD ASSISTANT
COACH, MASTERS COACH, PROFESSIONAL
SWIMMER
Josiah, originally
from
Trinidad & Tobago, joined the PAQ in 2017 as a
professional (post-graduate) athlete after earning a
Bachelor’s of Science in molecular biology and minor in
chemistry from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.
During his time at Wayland, Josiah was a Dean's List student with
many athletic and academic accolades. Coach Joe was 4x
Men's Swimming & Diving All-American, 5x Athlete of the week,
1x NAIA Male Athlete of the week, CSCAA Scholar All-American, Swim
Team Captain and held school records in the 50 free, 100 butterfly
and 200 butterfly. He has been recognized as Who’s Who in
American Colleges and Universities. Josiah has represented Trinidad
& Tobago on multiple occasions, including the FINA World
Open Water Junior Swimming and multiple C.C.C.A.N. and CISC
Championships. Currently he is balancing training with coaching as
he seeks another opportunity to represent #TeamTTO on the world
stage again! Joe is a fan of the Marvel Comics series and
enjoys reading anime ...two of his favorite taper

HAYLEY KNAPP - ASSISTANT
COACH
Hayley joined The
PAQ in October 2022 from the Midwest town of Wichita, Kansas.
She is a 2020 grad of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri
(B.A./Biology). A swimmer since age ten, Knapp started in
summer/rec. league, went on to USA club Swimming, and finished her
athletic career as a collegiate athlete (100 fly/200 back/200
free.) And, Knapp has more than 8 years of coaching experience
under her belt already! She started as a swim instructor with the
Wichita Swim School, coached summer league at Genesis Health Clubs
of Wichita, and became an Assistant Coach with her home team, the
Wichita Swim Club, specializing in developmental athletes. She also
returned to her high school alma mater as Head Coach of the Boys
& Girls Varsity Team at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School
(Wichita, KS). In 2021, Knapp was named the Wichita Eagle
All-Metro Second Team Coach of the Year. In addition to her
work at PAQ, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in
Biology at Florida Atlantic University where she is studying
dolphin genetics for her current research. In her free time Hayley
enjoys ocean sports and Disney musicals!
RORY GRIGULL - TRIATHLON
CONSULTANT (SPECIALTY: IRONMAN)
Rory joined The PAQ
in 2012 with extensive competitive swimming experience, and has
been instrumental in supporting our growth and longevity! He
is an ASCA Level 3 Certified Club and Masters Coach. A 2012
graduate of the University of South Carolina (Exercise
Science/Psychology mino), Grigull was a 4X FHSAA All-American
and member of multiple State Championship teams at Marjorie
Stoneman-Douglas High School. While training with Coach
Kathleen, Grigull competed at the 2008 US Olympic
Trials in the 100-meter freestyle. At SC Rory
continued his stellar swimming career, competing in
3 Southeastern Conference Championships, and
3x Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. He and his
wife Chrissy (also a former PAQ coach) relocated to their
beloved Colorado to pursue their dreams of IRONMAN training ...at
altitude all the time! Rory currently lends his expertise to our
friends at Pike's Peak Athletics in

CASSIDY RINDGE
-2020/21 ASSISTANT COACH & PANDEMIC
MANAGER
"Cass", a native of Charleston, SC, first
competed in summer league, following the footsteps of her older
siblings...now she is a collegiate 'swammer' and veteran
IRONMAN! A 2019 graduate of Converse College, Cassidy as
a 400IMer was Team Captain, named 3X All-Conference
athlete, and earned Conference Carolinas Academic
All-Conference 2017-19. Cassidy loves working with the youngest and
the oldest in our community, and was the perfect coach to lead us
out of the 2020 pandemic closures. Coach Cass is a big part of
PAQ's extended Coach Family!
KATIE PARKER -
PART-TIME SCHOOL COACH, SCHOOL JV &
VARSITY
"KatieP" joined
The PAQ in 2014 as a graduate of the University of Tampa. Joining
her first swim team at age 5, Katie wrapped up a 17-year
competitive swimming career at Tampa as the school record-holder in
200 Butterfly and a 3-year consecutive NCAA Division II
Championships qualifier (2012/13/14)! After a time with
Deerfield Beach Ocean Rescue, Katie now works for a yacht company
in her degree field, Advertising! Her aquatic specialty is
building basic skills for lower-school and developmental
swimmers.
ALEX (MERRITT) FILLMORE
- STRENGTH &
CONDITIONING
Alex first joined The PAQ in 2016 to support our
Rio 2016 Olympic Preparation, and she is still supporting us today!
Now a firefighter in Colorado, Alex has both B.S. and Masters in Kinesiology from
Auburn University (2015). A passionate competitor, Alex was a
3X NCAA All-American Qualifier Alex
served as a graduate assistant for Auburn University Olympic
Sports Strength and Conditioning program, working with the
well-known Bryan Karkoska (Master of S&C by the CSCCA). Current
Certifications Include USA Swimming Level 1 & 2 Coach,
CPR/AED/ WSI, CSCS- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist,
and CrossFit Trainer Certification. Alex loves exploring
her new home in Colorado Springs with her new husband....but still
believes everything is better at the
beach!
MORGAN
(STEPHENSON) GLEESON - MARKETING/CREATIVE
"Morgs" joined
The PAQ in the summer of 2018 as a graduate of Florida State
University (B.S., Biology). As an athlete, Morgan competed for the
Seminoles and earned Academic All-American. She was a finalist
at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships in 200
breaststroke. While coaching with PAQ, Morgan earned a Masters
Degree in Marine Biology at Nova Southeastern University and now
assists us remotely from her new home in Atlanta,
Georgia!
STEPHANIE (EISENRING)
GUIZANI - FIREFIGHTER & SAFETY
ADVOCATE
Steph joined
our team as a professional athlete 2014, but since
2016 has assisted in marketing and business operations
efforts! A native of Switzerland and a 2013
University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill graduate (Journalism/Mass
Communications), Steph was a successful distance athlete,
earning local and nartional records that still stand
today in the 400 & 800 freestyle. She's competed at many
levels including NCAA Conference Champs and at the National &
International levels, representing Team Switzerland at FINA World
Championships! She has also represented Team USA at professional
International Lifeguard Competitions in 2018,19, 20, and is an
inducted member of the PineCrest School Athletic Hall of Fame.
A certified EMT and former Deerfield Beach Ocean Rescue
Lifeguard, Stephanie now serves on the front lines as firefighter
for Pompano Beach, and recently married her high school sweetheart,
Mo.
