I have lived in York, Pennsylvania my entire life and just
moved to Valdosta this fall to earn my masters of education in
Speech Language Pathology. I began swimming as an age
group swimmer when I was 6 years old and continued swimming
throughout high school and college. In 2014, I
began college at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for
a bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology and swam
for their Division II program. At Clarion, I specialized
in the 100 and 200 backstroke and had a very successful 4
year collegiate career. I attended the Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference(PSAC) Championship all four years, and
placed 1st in the 100 Backstroke at the conference meet in
2017 and 2018. Also in 2017 and 2018 I was named as
Academic All District II
by The College Sports Information Directors of America.
Before moving to Valdosta, I coached for Spring Grove Aquatic Club
in York, Pennsylvania for 2 years over the summers as an
assistant coach. Swimming is my favorite thing in the world
and I hope to transfer what knowledge I have and love for the sport
onto the swimmers I will be coaching!
