
Andy Korda
Head Coach

Coach Andy comes to Blue Tide from KATY Aquatics where he most
recently has been the High Performance Coach, working with
competitive swimmers who have earned Sectionals cuts through
Olympic Trials times. Andy’s proven leadership includes
developing National and Olympic Trial qualifiers as well as
developing a National Age Group (NAG) number one ranking athlete.
As Head Age Group Coach, Andy helped KATY Aquatics grow into top
ten placements at TAGS, including several individual champions. He
also has coached NCSA Junior National finalists, Speedo Junior
National finalists, and National finalists.
Coach Andy is widely known and regarded throughout Gulf Swimming
both for his coaching talents and his service on the Gulf Swimming
Board as Age Group Chair, Safety Chair, and At Large Member. Andy
was the 2017 Gulf Senior Coach of the Year. He also has been a
three-time Gulf Head Zones Coach, two- time Gulf All Star Head
Coach, and the 2012 West Texas Head Zones Coach. He was a speaker
at the ASCA 2018 Texas Legends Coaches Clinic and will be speaking
at the 2019 ASCA World Clinic.
Previously, Andy was the Head Coach of the City of Midland
Aquatics swimming program, and the Head Age Group Coach at Cy-Fair
Swim Club. A Katy native, Andy and his wife, Lisa, have a young
son, Jayden.

John Dissinger
Head 10 and under Coach

Coach Dissinger has worked in swimming in the Kingwood area for
over 20 years. He also serves as the Head Girls' Swimming
Coach at Kingwood Park High School. Since his arrival at KPHS
the Girls team has captured four straight Region Championships
and recently finished 2nd in the 2018 5A State
Championships. His swimmers have also captured numerous All
State Awards.
Coach Dissinger recently served as the President of the Eagle
Swimming Association. Under his guidance swimmers captured
numerous Individual and Relay State Champions, State Records and
one National Record.
As the former Head Age Group coach of Blue Tide he coached
numerous swimmers to state championships and national rankings
which also include numerous state records and three relays that
captured national championships. He was the head age group coach of
two Texas Age Group Championship teams. For all of his
swimmers’ accomplishments he was named 2001 Gulf Swimming and
the 2002 Texas Swimming Age Group Coach of the year. Coach
Dissinger has a BS and MS in Physical Education from Western
Kentucky University where he was a four year letterman and Team
Captain for the Hilltoppers. He and his wife Sharon have
three children Spencer (Oklahoma State), A.J. (Texas State),
Merritt (former swimmer at Penn State) with her husband Tony
and granddaughter Jolie.

Tara Bailey
Head Age Group Coach

Tara Bailey has 15 years of experience coaching swim at multiple
levels. She spent 4 years as the Head Coach of the Winchester
Hurricanes Summer League, 3 years as a Junior Varsity Coach for
Summer Creek High, 4 years as a Head Coach for Jersey Village High
School, 4 years as a Head Coach for Summer Creek High School, 5
years as a Head Age Group Coach for Crimson Gold Aquatics and Eagle
Swimming Association, and 1 year as a Senior/Head Coach for Crimson
Gold Aquatics.
During these times she has coached many TAGS qualifiers, Tags
Finalist, TAGs Record holders, State Qualifiers for High School,
State Champions, and several swimmers who went.
She swam for a year round program called TMAC and then move to
DADs Club. She also swam for Mayde Creek High School, and was team
Captain MVP and a record holder in the 100 fly and 100 back. She
later swim in College at Delta State University.
Coach Bailey has two children a son Miles and a daughter Ava.

Daisy Beals
Assistant Coach

Daisy Beals has been in competitive swimming since the age of 9,
when she was actually little! She swam for BTA while in High
School as well as KHS. After graduation she was presented an
opportunity to embark upon a new adventure at the University of
Oklahoma, to take the strengths and discipline she had acquired
from swimming and utilize them in a completely new way, Rowing. As
part of Oklahomas Women's Rowing team she was instrumental in
helping her team take back to back BIG12 Championships home. Coach
Daisy knows what it takes to be a college athlete and is here to
help mentor those that have this aspiration. Daisy holds a BA
degree in Communication. She landed back home in the Kingwood area
after graduating, where she is following her passion of teaching
and coaching swimmers. Over the past few years, Daisy has been the
Head Coach for the Mills Branch Woodstream Marlins as well as
coaching Northeast Houston Aquatics. She is thrilled to be coaching
with Blue Tide and looks forward to helping all swimmers reach
their potential!

Sara Hays
Assistant Coach

Coach Sara has been coaching for 10 yrs. She started
swimming at the age of 9 in Buffalo, New York. She competed
for Kenmore West High School and was a 12 time Niagara Frontier
League Champion and helped her team to be NFL Team Champions her
Junior and Senior years. Sara was an 8 time Sectional All
Star and Sectional Champion in the 200 Freestyle. In 2005,
she was inducted into her high school's Hall of Fame. After
high school, she went on to compete for Ashland University in
Ohio. There she was a member of the Penn-Ohio Conference team
and an 11 time All American. Sara left the corporate world
when she had her first son, and decided to come back to swimming in
2006 when she joined the coaching staff at NEHA. She coached
for 3 years, and left after her 3rd son was born. Sara came
back to coaching in 2012 and joined the Blue Tide coaching
staff. She is very enthusiastic about the sport and loves to
see her swimmers excel. Sara lives in Kingwood with her
husband, Mike, and 3 sons. Jack(14), Evan (13), and Bret (11).

Macy Moss
Assistant Coach

Coach Macy is a Level 1 ASCA coach. She started swimming when
she was 11 years old and swam for Blue Tide Aquatics her sophomore
and junior year of high school. During her time on BTA she
qualified for the 2013 Sectionals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
Coach Macy also was apart of the 200 medley relay swimming the
breaststroke leg at Junior Nationals. This is her third year year
with Blue Tide Aquatics and loves coaching the kids! Coach Macy
helps out with our Tidalwave and White groups, and is the lead
coach for the Silver group.

Josh Stibrich

Coach Josh has been in the sport of swimming for over 30
years. He began swimming outside of New Orleans at the
age of 9 for the Bellemeade Sharks. He was a multiple
state champion for his club team New Orleans Aquatic (NOA) in
backstroke and freestyle events where he was coached by Hall of
Fame coach Ray Woods. At Lutheran High in Metairie, LA, he was
state champion in both the 100 back and 100 free (breaking the LA
Division II state record). In college, he competed all 4 years at
Louisiana State University where he met his wife Katy (McBride),
who was a native of Kingwood and former Blue Tide
swimmer. He continues to be a student of the sport
applying that knowledge to both his swimmers and his own
competitions in masters’ swimming events and
triathlons. His coaching career began while in college,
coaching summer league teams and at his home club
NOA. After a period of time developing his career in
internal audit, he returned to coaching at ESA as an assistant and
lead coach in their junior group. He looks forward to
helping develop the love of swimming he has with those he coaches,
and will coach, at Blue Tide. When he is not coaching,
he works as the Director of Internal Audit at Insperity. He
and Katy have 2 swimming children, Luke and Lizzy.

Meredith Schlosberg

Coach Meredith started competitive swimming at the age of 6
years old in Fort Worth, Texas. Growing up, she swam for Metroplex
Aquatics and qualified for TAGS. In high school, she competed at
the State Championship meet 3 times and was also a 5 time record
holder for Aledo High School. After attending Texas A&M for
college, she moved to Kingwood to pursue a career as a science
teacher at KPHS. She has been coaching for 5 years; however, this
is her first year on Blue Tide and she is loving every second of
it! Her favorite thing is to see her swimmers confidence and love
of the sport grow over time. Coach Meredith is currently coaching
the Tidal Wave and Orange groups.

Chris Pease
Assistant Coach

Coach Chris began his swim career in Florida swimming for a
perennial high school powerhouse. He moved back to Connecticut, to
finish his high school career, with his coach, who bought his birth
home and parents home, prior to moving to Florida. Coach
Chris' s high school coach in Connecticut gave him the passion and
love for coaching swimming and athletes. Coach Chris helped lead
his high school team, in Connecticut, to its 1st district
championship in 18 years. Chris went on to swim in college at
Bridgewater State in Massachussetts. His career came to an end
after a Rugby accident. Chris moved to Texas and met his wife
April. Coach Chris has a set of twin boys, Brad and Aaron.
Both Aaron and Brad swam for TWST and their local summer league
teams. After the boys entered elementary school, he began his swim
coach career. He has been a age group coach for TWST, Spring Swim
Team, and NEHA. He also has been a head high school coach and head
summer league coach. He has coached district, region, and state
champions at the high school level. He also has coached TAGS,
Sectional, Junior National Qualifiers and Olympic hopefuls. Coach
Chris wants all swimmers to reach their highest potential in and
out of the pool. When not coaching, Coach Chris runs, enjoys
fantasy football, and March Madness.

Adrian Damasco

Coach Adrian
comes to Blue Tide with 14 years of experience as a professional
coach at nearly every level of the sport. He spent a short stint at
Austin Swim Club as their Head Age Group Coach. Most recently, he
was the Associate Head Coach for Los Angeles Swim Club in the
greater Los Angeles area for the past four years.
He primarily worked with their
top 11-14 swimmers and top senior group. Under his guidance, Coach
Adrian led many swimmers to top 10 times in the country, numerous
top 5 finishes as the LSC Champs Meets, Junior Olympics Champions,
Far Western Champions, Sectional Qualifiers/Finalists,
Winter/Summer Juniors Finalists, Olympic Trials Cuts, and was
instrumental helping guide one of the post collegiate swimmers to
making the Moroccan World’s team that led to breaking
numerous National Records. In 2018-2019 he helped one of his Para
Swimmers to numerous National Titles/Records.
In addition to his club
position, he was also Assistant Varsity Coach at Harvard-Westlake.
During his tenure he helped lead the team to numerous CIF &
State Finalists, All-American Honors and nearly every school record
was broken. Prior to his stint in Los Angeles, he spent his early
career at Nitro Swimming in Austin, Texas.
Coach Adrian is an ASCA Level
3 Coach and looks forward bringing a ton of energy and passion on
and off the pool deck. When he’s off the pool deck you can
find him at the beach or discovering another
restaurant.

Jocelin Drennan
Coaching Staff

Coach Jocelin began her swimming career at the age of 5 in her
hometown of Midland, TX for the City of Midland Aquatics Swim Team.
During her time with COM, she was a TAGS and Sectionals level
swimmer. In 2011, she graduated from Greenwood High School and made
her way to Reno, Nevada to continue her academics and swimming
career at The University of Nevada, Reno. While attending UNR,
Coach Jocelin achieved multiple All-Conference academic honors and
represented the Wolf Pack at conference championship meets all 4
years. In May of 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree
in Broadcast Journalism and made her way back to Midland to pursue
a career with her degree. Over the next year, Coach Jocelin
combined her passion for swimming and journalism into one career as
a coach for 11-12 year olds at the TAGS Level and as the media
coordinator for COM Aquatics. In the Fall of 2016, Coach Jocelin
joined Katy Aquatics where she would coach developmental athletes
in the age group program as well high school level & national
level senior athletes in the program. In addition to her coaching,
she also had the opportunity to assist as a media coordinator for
her team with social media platforms during meets and local events
with the team. Looking west to California in August of 2018, Coach
Jocelin moved to Los Angeles to coach for Westside Aquatics. Over
the next year, she coached two developmental senior groups and was
part of the Palisades Charter High School Swim Team coaching staff
in the Pacific Palisades. After a year in Los Angeles, Coach
Jocelin decided to return to Texas in August of 2019. Upon her
arrival in Austin, she joined Waterloo Swimming as an assistant
coach, swim lesson instructor and deck manager. During the next
year, she taught a wide range of swimmers in swim lessons program
and on the swim team. In April of 2020, she was promoted to the
lead coach position for the Bronze 2 group and worked to continue
to improve technique as well as endurance for 8-12 year olds in the
group. Coach Jocelin is very excited to join Blue Tide Aquatics and
looks forward to meeting and helping swimmers succeed in and out of
the pool.
