
Kevin Zakrzewski

Kevin Zakrzewski returned to Stevenson back in August
2015. Kevin is a 2000 SHS graduate who attended the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2000-2001), and University of
Wisconsin-Madison (2001-2004) where he majored in Atmospheric and
Oceanic Sciences. He was a 4-time Varsity letter winner
(1-UN-Lincoln, 3-UW-Madison). During his time at UW Madison,
he was a 3-Time NCAA All America and was the Breaststroke leg of
the 4th place 200 Medley Relay at the 2004 NCAAs.
In 2006 Kevin came out of retirement due the passing of one of
his closest friends. That summer he qualified for the 2008
Olympic Trials in the 100/200 BR. During that time he also
helped co-found the Christopher Steele Foundation where he was
named President in 2010. During the 10 years of CSF,
they donated $100,000+ to Northwester Memorial Foundation for
Sarcoma Research, and also donated to SHS Hockey and Baseball to
support athlete scholarships.
After the 2008 Olympic trials Kevin became the Assiatnt Head
Coach at CATS Aquatic Team from 2008-2012. After that he
ventured to Northwestern were he was the Head Senior Coach of
NASA-Wild, and also was a volunteer for the Northwestern Women's
Varsity program from 2012-2015.
Kevin is also a (CSCS) Certified Strength & Conditioning
Specialist and an ASCA Level 4 member.

Jennifer King
HEAD AGE GROUP COACH (JR Patriot - Blue)

Lead Coach: Platinum, Jr. Patriot
Jennifer joined the Patriot Aquatic Club in 2012. She currently
works with our Platinum and Jr. Patriot levels. Jennifer has
coached swimmers to multiple ISI Regional Championships, ISI Age
Group State Championships, and USA Central Zone Championships.
Prior to joing PAC she had served as a coach for the Hickory Willow
Swim Club, Palatine Park District, and the Barrington Swim
Club.

Matt Bacinich
SENIOR COACH
Email
Matt Bacinich joined PAC in 2018 as a Senior Level coach. He comes
here after coaching previously with Glenbrook Aquatics as both a
developmental and senior coach over the past 4 years. Prior to his
coaching career, he started competing for Glenbrook North in
swimming and water polo. Serving as the team captain for both teams
his senior year, he was also selected as the representative for the
CSL Leadership Conference for both teams, selected as a leader for
the conference his senior year. He also has competed as parts of
the DePauw and Lewis University swim teams, and earning
All-American honors. Post-collegiate competition has seen a trip to
the Arena Grand Prix Series.

Megan O'Sullivan
COACH JR/PAT Red / LESSON COORDINATOR

Megan is our Lead Coach for JR & Patriot Red. She is also
our Swim Lesson Coordinator.

Ching Tung
DEVELOPMENTAL COORDINATOR

Lead Coach: Bronze and Novice
Ching comes to PAC from San Diego, where she was an age group
lead coach at North Coast Aquatics. Since starting her coaching
career at a YMCA, she has coached primarily at the age group level.
This is her second season with Illinois Swimming, spending the
first season with New Trier Aquatics.
Ching was born and raised in Hong Kong. She attended Claremont
McKenna College in Claremont, CA, where she swam 4 years
competitively. After working in college athletics at UC Berkeley
and the University of Kentucky, where she gained a master's degree,
she and her husband moved to San Diego. A military move brought
them to Chicago. Ching and her husband Mike live in Glenview.

Sean Wimer
WATER POLO ASSISTANT COACH
Email
Sean joined the PAC/NIPC staff in 2005. He has served as the
Head Boys Water Polo Coach at Stevenson High School since 2007.
Sean is a graduate of Stevenson High School and during that time
was a member of USA Water Polo Youth and Junior National Teams.
Sean graduated from Loyola Maramount in Los Angeles and was a
member of 3 NCAA Final Four Teams.

Brian Woodward
WATER POLO ASSISTANT COACH

Brian joined the PAC/NIPC staff in 2005. He was a graduate of Stevenson High School where he now serves as an Assistant Girls Water Polo Coach since 2008. Brian graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign where he also was continued his water polo career with the Illini.
