Coach Maureen has been swimming competitively since she was 9 years old. She began her swimming career as a member of the Richards Area Swim Club, and then continued at H.L. Richards High School where she earned numerous awards and broke team records. Coach Maureen's competitive swim career culminated at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where she was a member of the Division 1 Flames Women's Swim Team.
Coach Featherstone graduated from college in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She currently works as a school nurse at Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, Illinois. Maureen shares her love of swimming with her husband Jeff and her four daughters, who are members of the PASS family. Coach Mo welcomes you to our PASS Team.
Sam has been swimming competitively since she was nine years old,
starting with BSA in Burbank and later joining the Palos Area Swim
Sharks. She continued swimming at Shepard High School where
she was a Varsity swimmer and Water Polo player all four
years. She is a graduate from St. Xavier University with a degree
in elementary education. She is currently teaching in Orland
School District 135. She shares her love of the sport with
her sister and brother, who are also a part of the PASS family.
This is Coach Sam's 10th year coaching with PASS.
Frank C Muchna
Frank is a graduate of Tinley Park High School and Eastern Illinois University (BS degree in Geology). He swam competitively throughout his H.S. and college careers. He has over 20 years of club coaching (2 years at Tinley Park, 17 years with GILS). He was the head boys and girls coach at Andrew High School (13 years). Frank loves sharing his love of the sport with his entire family. Wife Julie swam competitively for 15 years. His three children had successful competitive club, high school, and college swim careers.
