Scott Gainey

Head Coach


Scott brings over 20 years of coaching and teaching experiences to RACE.  Scott has recently worked with Longhorn Aquatics as a Site Director and Assistant Coach.  He has also worked with other top tier programs such as: Nitro Swimming and Irvine Novaquatics.   Scott's experiences include summer league, high school, age group, senior club teams, college and masters and swim lessons.

Scott's coaching philosophy can be summarized by two of his favorite quotes:

Andrew R Allan

Head Age Group Coach


Andrew bring nearly 10 years of Head Age Group Coaching experience to RACE Aquatics. 
Coach Andrew “Zig” is coming to us from Naples, Florida.  His primary goal for coming to RACE Aquatics is to,
continue our development of water safe children in Bowling Green and build upon our competitive success.

Favorite Strokes: All four strokes are favorites because they are all equally important.

Assistant Coach


Coach Kate has recently moved to Bowling Green for Nursing School at WKU.  As a former swimmer at UK, she wanted to continue giving back to the sport that gave so much to her.  

She brings us a lot of technical knowledge and team experiences to RACE.
