“I have been swimming competitively for eight years now. I am a graduate of Liberty High School where I lettered all four years in the sport of swimming, I was team captain my senior year.  My freshman year I practiced with the Hubbard Swim Team and was the sole swimmer for Liberty and this year, there were four of us and plenty more coming after I leave. I also currently hold the record for Liberty in the Girls 500 Freestyle. The last four years I have practiced six days a week, two hours a day and four days of dry land for an hour.  Durning High School I was also part of the Kraken Swim Club, combining the two made it so that I practiced ten months out of the year. Before High School I was just involved in club swimming where I gained my passion for the sport. I love working with children and plan to attend Youngstown State University this fall to become a pediatric nurse. I am currently a lifeguard and a water safety instructor at the Hubbard pool. Since I was a child I have dreamed of coaching other swimmers to become great athletes and well rounded people. I am honored to have my first opportunity to coach and share all my knowledge and passion for this sport with young children. “
