Head Coach & CEO
Coach Kirtis co-founded the Twinsburg Competitive Aquatics
Team in the Spring of 2015. Under his direction TCAT has more
than doubled in size. TCAT has produced swimmers
who have been OHSAA finalists, USA Sectional, Futures, and
Junior Nationals qualifiers while producing age group swimmers whom
have earned Lake Erie Swimming's Top 10 Times from 2016-2019.
Coach Kirtis has been head coach of the Twinsburg High School swim
team since 2013. As head coach for Twinsburg High School, Kirtis
has established a successful culture through which the school
continues to send swimmers to the District and State levels,
while breaking school records each year. Coach Kirtis was
named NOC Coach of the Year from 2014-2016 while the program
achieved its first conference championship titles.
From 2009-2015 Coach Kirtis worked with various USA
Swimming and high school teams in Ohio. While coaching
at the club level he had swimmers qualify to the 2014 Central Zone
Meet and 2013 International Children’s Games.
Coach Kirtis assisted with National level swimmers and Olympic
Trials qualifiers in his previous club experiences while helping
age group swimmers achieve their first Zone cuts.
Coach Kirtis graduated in 2012 with his Master’s of Science
degree in Sports Sciences with an emphasis on Coaching Education.

As a swimmer, Coach Kirtis was a member of the Ohio University
Men's Swimming and Diving program in 2006-2007 season
until the program was discontinued. While at Ohio
University he earned the Tad Potter Memorial Award for
Teamwork, Leadership, Courage and Dedication. In high
school, Coach Kirtis earned two All American honors for
swimming in 2006.
Lead Assistant Coach
Coach Anthony is on his second season with the TCAT
Tigersharks. He teaches the sport through hard work and
effort with the more mature swimmers. Coach Anthony is highly
animated and encouraging with the younger swimmers keeping them
engaged in lessons.
Anthony currently sudies Computer Science at Kent State
University. In the summers he coaches the Barrington
Barricudas where he has coached since 2016.
Coach Anthony graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School as a
Butterfly specialist, team captain, and 4 year letterwinner.
Anthony earned an 8th place finish in the 200 Medley Relay at the
OHSAA State Swimming and Diving Tournament in 2017. He was a
four time Northeast Ohio District qualifier. Coach
Anthony swam for Solon Stars and Barrington Barricudas as he
developed within the sport.
Coach Preston is a first year coach for TCAT. Coach
Preston began his swimming career with the Painesville YMCA
Penguins and the Mentor Marlins. Jeremy started a swim team
for Painesville Harvey High High School while in high school.
Coach Preston was a Northeast Ohio District qualifer and OHSAA
State Championship Qualifier. After high school Coach Preston
swam at Ohio Northern University where he was a 2 year
letterwinner, 4 time OAC Champion and helped lead the team to
two Conference titles. Coach Preston looks forward to
developing the swimmers into lifelong participants of the sport.
Coach Lindsey joined the TCAT staff in the Fall of 2020.
Lindsey has a variety of coaching experience at different levels in
the sport. She has coached Chagrin Valley Athletic Club
and Wembley Club from 2015-2019. Coach Lindsey swam for
Kenston High School and Great Lakes Sailfish.
Her favorite part of coaching is seeing the swimmers
improve, even if it is the smallest improvement, she is ecstatic
to be a part of their little victories.
Coach Lindsey is currently a third-year Interior Design
student at Kent State University’s College of Architecture
and Environmental Design. Aside from swimming, she loves to
horseback ride which has lead her to become a part of the Kent
State Equestrian Team.
