We strive to maximize every swimmer's potential in a safe and encouraging environment.

"Our Coaching Staff has been involved in most aspects of this terrific sport most of our entire lives. We consistently support and guide each student-athlete to achieve his or her personal goals socially, academically, and athletically. Enthusiastically, through planned and organized practices, we properly develop and educate swimmers of all levels and abilities. Consistent discipline  and dedication are constantly encouraged. We promote swimmers to perfect the most efficient stroke mechanics (in all strokes), maximizing technical ability for starts and turns, and educating all swimmers in an understanding of training methodologies. We continue to ensure that each swimmer is participating in our great sport because they love the experience and discipline of training and competing. We provide a goal-oriented environment where swimmers are taught to be realistic, yet set challenging goals for meets and relate these goals to every practice. We encourage our swimmers, whatever their level of ability, to strive to become the best swimmers and people they can be. Each of our swimmers remain inspired to pursue excellence- both in and out of the pool. From teaching individuals how to swim, helping our remarkable swimmers to achieve lifetime best times, always educating and promoting dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment, to coaching swimmers to become top-level athletes as well as outstanding people- we take great pride in what we do. Swimming is a lifelong, lifesaving activity that has taken place for thousands of years throughout the world- we should continue to embrace and cherish it!" - Coach McNear

Our mission remains to consistently offer a quality year-round swim program to the entire community, which continues to be competitive locally, regionally, and nationally. We guide every individual swimmer to achieve proper growth and development – in and out of the pool.

The Coaching Staff is here to support the swimmers' needs. If questions are related to safety, development, goal setting, practices, meets, seasonal plans, and other swim-related needs, please feel free to contact the Director or any of our coaching staff. For all questions related to administration, such as dues or policy issues, please contact one of the Board Members.

Consistent year round attendance only with Lower Moreland Swimming
is vital to proper development, prevention of injury, and successful performance.
