Coaching Staff

Terri Eudy

General Manager & Head Coach


Terri has extensive background and degrees in exercise physiology and education. She has 20 + years of coaching experience at the College, High School, YMCA, country club and Senior and Age Group levels. Terri has been selected as a coach and researcher by Michigan Swimming and United States Swimming to conduct altitude training teams and research activities in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the Olympic Training Center and ICAR, the International Center for Aquatic Research.  She previously served on the board of Michigan Swimming, Inc. as Safety Chair and Review Committee member. Terri, her husband Adam, and their twin daughters live in Rockford.  

Nathan W Long

Age-group Coach


Coach Nate has been coaching since the 2011-2012 season at multiple levels from high school down to beginners.  He is married and resides in Coopersville with his wife and 5 children. He has been named All-Conference coach of the year twice with two separate teams, he spent time as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion comittee with Indiana Swimming, and Coached for Team Indiana.  Before coming to Riptide, he had coached swimmers to the Junior Olympic, State, and Sectional levels.  Most noteably though he took a team of 55 swimmers and grew it into the 5th largest team in the LSC with 240 swimmers in less than 2 years.  Outside of swimming, Coach Nate is a teacher at Montague area public schools.  He teaches middle school science primarily at the 8th grade level.  He loves teaching and coaching young people to be better than the potential they set for themselves.

Dakota M Noble

Age Group Coach & Business Administrator


Dakota is currently a student at Grand Valley State Univeristy studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with the end goal of becoming a Speech Language Pathologist. She is an RHS grad from 2015 and during her time there she was on the swim team, she also swam for Riptide for twelve years. On the dry side of the sport, she spent five years sitting on the Michigan Swimming Board of Directors as an Athlete Representative, coached for Junior Riptide from 2012-15, and taught swim lessons at Goldfish Swim School. At this time, Dakota is the Head Coach of SOAR, a Special Olympic swim program focused on adaptive aquatics as well as serving on the Credentials and Elections Committee as a National Athlete for USA Swimming; she has served for the past 3 years and will continue to serve on this committee in the future, additionally she serves on the USA Swimming Athlete Executive Committee in an At-Large position. Outside of the pool and the classroom, she enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing, going to the gym and spending time with her dog, Rutger.
