Sarah Maraskine

Head Coach

Coach Maraskine is in her second year as the Head Coach for the Tecumseh Tigersharks.  She was an  accomplished  athlete with a resume that extends from competing at the NCAA Division I level with Eastern Michigan University, an NCAA ChampionshipTitle with Wayne State University and appearances at USA Senior Nationals.  Coach Sarah has taught swimmers from with a wide range of age and ability from learn to swim swimmers up to High School level athletes. Before joining the Tigersharks she has had the opportunity to coach in many different settings and teams.  Most recently Coach Sarah had the opportunity to coach for Performance Aquatics Club  and Grandville Prep High School, both located in Boca Raton, Florida .  In addition to Performance Aquatics, Coach Sarah has worked as the Head coach for the Belleville Swim Club where she assisted in the development and creation of their swim club, Assistant Coach for the Saline Stingrays,  Assistant Coach for the Belleville High School Swim Team and Assistant Coach for Club Wolverine.  She enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of the sport to all who are a part of the Tecumseh Tigersharks!

Elizabeth Maraskine

Elizabeth Maraskine is a Junior Coaching staff member, Swim Instructor, and Head Lifeguard at the Tecumseh Community Pool. Elizabeth graduated from Herbert Henry Dow High School in 2016 and was a part of a four Saginaw Valley League Championship swim teams. She now attends Wayne State University and is a part of the Wayne State Swim and Dive team, specializing in sprint freestyle and backstroke. Elizabeth also recently was accepted into Wayne State University Nursing program and hopes to earn a bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2021.

 

Lydia Lopez

Lead Coach, Sandsharks

Lydia Lopez is a Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Supervisor and Junior Coach at the Tecumseh Community Pool. She is currently a Senior at Tecumseh High School and spends her time in the pool as a varsity swimmer, rocking out on the violin or out in town volunteering with Key Club as Club President, and State Officer. Lydia plans to attend Coastal Carolina University to obtain A degree in marine biology and Environmental Science. Lydia loves coaching because she feels she is playing a vital role in each swimmers future.

 

 

Rebecca K Ries

Junior Coach, Sandsharks

Rebecca Ries is a Lifeguard, Jr. Coach and swim instructor at the Tecumseh Community Pool. Rebecca is a active swimmer on the THS Varsity Swim team and the Tecumseh Tigershark team. Rebecca likes to spend her free time hanging out with friends and spending time at the lake. Rebecca’s favorite part about working TCP is her part in being a supportive role model to young athletes.

Giovanni Michael Lore

Junior Coach, Sandsharks

Giovanni Lore is a Lifeguard and Junior Coach at the Tecumseh Community Pool. Giovanni has been swimming with the Tecumseh Tigersharks Swim team for several years, and with the Boys Varsity Swim Team for his high school career. In his spare time, Giovanni likes to play video games, go fishing, and work on dirt bikes.
