KATS Head Coach
I grew up swimming in Montana, I had multiple state records, I qualified for junior nationals my Freshman year of high school and Nationals my Junior year of High school. I was also the athlete rep for Montana my Junior and Senior year of High school.
I went on to swim at the University of Utah, where I was a multiple team recorder holder as well as a two time team captain for the team. My senior year I qualified for the Olympic trials in the 100 and 200 meter backstroke. I went on to compete at the 2012 Olympic Trials.
After my swimming career was over I started working for the University of Utah swimming and Diving team as the Director of Operations.
After a year of working the Utah I moved to Georgia to coach at Darton State College. I coached at Darton for two years my first as the assistant coach and my second as the Head coach. In my time at Darton I coached multiple school recorder holders and the Men's team to the highest finish in school history at the National meet for Junior colleges. My first year we had both the Men's and Women's team won the Non-Scholarship division for the National Meet. While I was at Darton I also coached the Darton Aqua-Darts club team. I grew the team from 15 swimmers to over 65 in 2 years. We also scored the most points in team history at both Age group state and senior state in my time with the team.

I am originally from Chicago Illinois. However, I grew up in Montana and learned to swim in the many lakes around the Flathead valley. I began to swim competitively my freshman year of high school. I qualified for and swam at state all four years. I am currently attending Flathead Valley Community College pursuing a degree in nursing anesthesia while I work as a swim coach and a swim instructor at the summit. Unfortunately there is no swim team at the college so I was not able to continue swimming in college, but I am fortunate to be able to coach and work in the environment that I love to be in.
