Don Lemieux was the Head Coach of the Greenwood Swimming for over 36 years and is now serving as the owner and Head Coach of Greenwood Swimming. An ASCA Level 5 Coach, Lemieux has coached swimmers to the Olympic Sports Festival, USA National and Junior National Teams, including Samantha Arsenault, a 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist, and Erica Meissner, a 2004 US Open Champion and 2005 Junior Pan Pacific Gold Medalist. Lemieux has also coached 16 Olympic Trial Qualifiers, 41 H.S. All-Americans, and many Scholastic All-Americans. His teams have won countless Age Group Championships and Senior Championships as well as the 1996 US Open Women’s Team Champions. Under the guidance of Coach Lemieux several New England Records have been broken.

As coach of the Gardner High School girls’ team his girls have won 15 consecutive State Championships and a total of 16 and 134 consecutive dual meets without a loss. Lemieux’s swimmers held 9 out of 11 high school state records. Coach Lemieux served on the National Junior Team staff and has coached several USA training camps. Coach Lemieux is on the Board of Directors for the International Swim Coaches Association.

Lemieux's  team goals are to create a team atmosphere of young athletes that thrive on challenges, both academic and athletic.

Don is a graduate of Springfield College (B.S.). He and his wife Patty have 2 children, Tricia and Donny, and reside in Gardner, MA.

Diana Ringer

Age Group Coach - Central YMCA and WPI

Diana was the Aquatics Director/Coach (11 years) for the Clark Memorial Pool. She brought her enthusiasm, experience, love of swimming and of children to the Greenwood program. Diana is one of the coaches in the Age Group Development level and Director of the Greenwood Learn to Swim Program and Recreational Swim Team Programs.  In addition, Diana coached the Special Olympics Greenwood team.

Dominik Vojtech Danko

Dominik was a swimmer for Greenwood Swimming and now studies at Clark University, in Worcester. At 10 years old, Dominik began to develop a passion for swimming and started competing until the end of high school. He now enjoys competing in triathlons and helping young swimmers grow as athletes.

Dominik is a certified Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard, and USA Swim Coach. He has experience teaching swim lessons to all ages, as well as coaching recreational and competitive swim teams. Dominik loves the sport of swimming, and strives to help others find that passion and develop into strong swimmers and athletes in and out of the pool.

Laura Berg

Laura Berg comes from a strong swimming background.  She began swimming competitively at age 11 and competed through high school and one year in college.  Her favorite stroke is breaststroke. She is also a lifeguard and water safety instructor as well as a USA certified Swim Coach. Laura also has her Bachelor Degree in Nutrition, and believes in the importance of healthful eating to perform best.  Laura has been coaching with Greenwood since the Fall of 2016, with prior experience with the Worcester Wahoos at the local Jewish Community Center where she coached for 6 years. Laura has a passion and love for the sport of swimming.
