Chris a Payson
Chris Payson has been a member of the coaching community since the late 1980’s when Chris was head coach of a local Master’s swim program. He then became head coach of the Attleboro Bluefish. His leadership experience also extends into high school swimming. He was the former head coach of North Attleboro High School and is the current head coach of Bishop Feehan High School. Chris has also worked as an assistant coach for CAST, MAG, and most recently, Crimson Aquatics. Most recently, Chris was awarded the 2011 Coach of The Year from the Boston Globe as well as the Coach of The Year for 2011 by his peers at the Eastern Massachusetts Interscholastic Swim Coaches Academy for his work in high school swimming. Congratulations to Chris and his Bishop Feehan girls team who captured the State Title in Massachusetts in 2011 and 2012!
Shamrock Swim Club will look to Chris to guide us in the development and success of our program. Chris will be managing the everyday operations of the team as well as supervising the entire “wet side” of the team but will work mostly with Age Group and Senior programs on a day to day basis.
