
Bryan Fadel

Bryan joined Velocity
in 2015 and has coached in a variety of roles for 13
years, working with athletes at every age and skill
level, from beginners to nationally-ranked competitors. As an
age group coach, he has produced several Niagara LSC champions
and Eastern Zone qualifiers. He also serves as the Assistant Boys
Varsity Coach at Amherst High School.
During his athletic
career, Bryan specialized in the individual medley, butterfly
and breaststroke. He helped his high school win
two division championships, was a member of several
record-breaking relays, and was both a Sectional and State
Championship qualifier. Bryan continued his success at
the State University of New York at Oneonta, where
he earned SUNYAC All-Academic
honors, finished top-eight at
the SUNYAC Championship each year and broke several
school records. He also placed top-ten in his age group
at the U.S. Masters Swimming National Championship.

Elizabeth Zucco

Liz has been with Velocity Aquatics
since 2015 and this is her fourth year as the Lead Ontario
Coach. In this brief period of time she has produced an Eastern
Zone qualifier and coached multiple Niagara champions and
Championship qualifiers. Before moving to Buffalo, she was an
Age Group Coach at Cleveland Elite Aquatics in Cleveland, Ohio
(formally University Swim Club) and oversaw the swim lesson
program. She has also served as both an Assistant Varsity Coach and
Middle School Head Coach over the years.
As an athlete, Liz was a captain and
three-time MVP at Laurel School, where she was both a state
qualifier and school record-holder. She went on to swim at The
College of Wooster where she finished top-16 in the NCAC
Championship all four years.

Flynn Burroughs

Flynn founded Velocity
Aquatics, LLC; Michael Phelps Swimming-NY in April of 2011. He
then developed & directed the company until its sale in March
of 2019.
Prior to founding
Velocity Aquatics, LLC; Flynn spent the previous 15 years as a
national development club coach for USA Swimming; 13 of those years
as a head coach. Over that span, he helped develop Niagara Swim
League, Junior Olympic, and Eastern Zone Champions, as well as
Niagara District Record Holders, National Top-16 individual
performers, Speedo, JR National, and US Open Qualifiers.
Flynn also contributed to some of Section VI's premier High School
Teams as either an Assistant or Head Coach. Many of his club
swimmers represented their High School programs as members of the
Section VI, NYS High School Championship team - including six NYS
State Champions and six High School All-Americans.
Refreshed and ready to
return, Flynn will serve as both the Lead SR & SR Prep Groups
Coach and the Director of Competitive
Swimming.
As
the Director of Competitive Swimming, Flynn
will provide services designed to assist the company’s
efforts pertaining to the business management, growth &
performance of the Competitive Swim Club. Flynn’s experience
& expertise in these areas will serve as tremendous assets to
the company.
