Now in his 14th year of coaching, Ted has had tremendous success working with swimmers of all skill levels across multiple LSCs. Starting as an Age Group Coach for Charles River Aquatics in Boston, Massachusetts, he moved to Buffalo in 2011 to coach full-time. Finishing 44th in the LSC in 2015, the team has gone on to consistently finish in the top-10 at both the Short Course and Long Course Championship and was recognized as the Small Team Champion in 2017. During this time, Velocity Aquatics has produced many Niagara Champions, Eastern Zone qualifiers, Speedo Sectional qualifiers and Junior National qualifiers.

Coach Ted also serves as the Head Coach of the Williamsville North Boys Varsity swim team and the Assistant Coach for Frontier's Girls Varsity team. He is also an avid water polo player and formerly served as the Head Coach for Women's Water Polo at Boston College. From 2008 through 2010, he was recognized as the North Atlantic Conference Water Polo Coach of the Year.

Bryan continued his success at the State University of New York at Oneonta, where he earned SUNYAC All-Academic honors,  finished top-eight at the SUNYAC Championship each year and broke several school records. He also placed top-ten in his age group at the U.S. Masters Swimming National Championship.
