“The Jersey Flyers Aquatic Club is a swim team that is passionate about swimming. We focus on continually improving the swimmers’ skills in and out of the pool –always putting family and education first. My personal goal is to become a better coach every year” – Ruben Sembrano, JFAC Head Coach

Ruben Sembrano founded and became Head Coach of the Jersey Flyers Aquatic Club in 2010. He oversees all swimmers on the team – putting extra focus and care to see that the team’s many senior level swimmers fine tune their technique and stroke execution. A competitive swimmer since the age of five, Ruben excelled in the sport in his native Philippines and was awarded full athletic scholarships through high school and including his study at the University of San Carlos. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and has been a registered nurse in New Jersey since 1994.
