200 breaststroke. In addition to Fallon, SVY placed Nate
Borges (1650 FR) and Victoria Eisenhauer (100 BR) on the 2019 World
18/Under Top 100 List. This was the first time in team
history SVY athletes made the list. SVY has also qualified
individuals for USA Winter Junior Nationals for six consecutive
seasons. In total, Dan has coached one US Olympic Trials
qualifier, seven USA Swimming Scholastic All-Americans,
48 individuals on the YMCA SWYMS National Top-10 List,

Along with his duties at SVY, Coach Dan is
extremely active within the competitive swimming community.

member on both the NNJYMCA and NJ Swimming LSC Board of Directors.
He has twice been selected as a Zone Team Coach for NJ
Swimming.
Coach Dan spent 2012-14 as the Head Age

unprecedented growth and success during Coach Dan's tenure,

program to over 100 swimmers in 2014. SVY's age group program
broke 16 out of 30 total team relay records, including one NJ
Swimming record, in the 12/Under program under Coach Dan's
tenure.
Coach Dan spent 2008 to 2011 as the head
coach of the Hudson Valley Dolphins, a 150 swimmer USA program in
upstate New York. During Dan's 3 year tenure with the Dolphins, his
swimmers broke 114 SC 18/Under team records and he qualified
individuals and relays for Short Course Senior Mets and Speedo
Sectionals for the first time in team history. The Dolphins
improved their USA Virtual Club Ranking by 1300 places during Dan's
tenure. Coach Dan also served as the Boys Head Swimming and
Diving Coach at New Paltz High School. The team finished 2nd
overall at the NY State Championships in 2010 and 10th overall in
2011. During his two years at New Paltz, records were broken in 10
out of 15 HS events, they had nine Automatic All-Americans, and
earned an additional four All-American Considerations. In 2011, the

his tenure as Head 13/14 Age Group Coach.
Rob takes a great deal of pride in his swimmers' continued success
in the senior groups and at the college level and has been proud to
see 4 of his former swimmers participate at Olympic Trials. He also
enjoys seeing former swimmers achieve successes outside the pool as
he believes strongly that the lessons the sport of swimming teaches
can be applied to many areas of life.
As a coach, Rob's goal is to provide his swimmers with the training
and skills necessary for them to excel as 13/14 year old swimmers,
as well as in the future, in a fun and challenging environment. He
also believes that his job as a coach is to help each swimmer reach
his or her individual potential by providing them with the tools to
reach their goals both in and out of the pool.

College of New Jersey. He was one of the top distance swimmers on a
team and finished 8th at the NCAA Division III National Meet his

through high school, when he was also a member of the SVY national
team. He is an alumni of Hillsborough High School (and the HHS swim

about coaching swimmers ranging in age from 5 to 18. Danny spent
this past summer as an SVY Gold and Senior group assistant

led the 8 and under practice group for 9 of those years. In
September 2009, Coach Adele Began coaching the Silver I practice
group. Outside of coaching for SVY, she is the assistant coach for
the Hillsborough High School Boys and Girls swimming program which
she coached from 2004 - 2008, and currently since 2010. She
is a YMCA and USA Swimming certified coach (Level II), and a WSI
(Water Safety Instructor).
In addition to being a
competitive swim team coach, she has been teaching swim lessons,
water aerobics and a wide variety of fitness classes at the
Hillsborough YMCA since 1999. Since the spring of 2000, her
Running 101 classes have helped over 250 participants begin a
running program and many have gone on to run 5K's, 10K's and some
have even participated in marathons. She founded the Hillsborough
Hop 5K in 2001, which attracts over 500 runners each
spring.
Health and fitness are
Adele's #1 priorities in life, second only to her husband, Michael,
and boys, Ryan and Evan. Her goal as a coach is to help young
children develop a love for the sport of swimming as well as an
appreciation for taking care of themselves. She also hopes that
she'll get the parents (who aren't already) of her swimmers focused
on their health as they will see how it improves the quality of
their life.
When Coach Adele was a
toddler, her mother threw her in the pool and it wasn't until the
age of 10 that Adele began swimming competitively for the Clifton
Boy's Club. In later years, she swam for the Phoenix and Montclair
Aquatic Clubs. During high school, she swam for Clifton High School
(C.H.S.). In October 2003, she was inducted into the C.H.S.
Athletic Hall of Fame. Beginning in her senior year of high school,
Coach Adele began teaching lessons and coaching a summer swim team
at the Montclair Beach Club, which she continued to do throughout
her college years.
Prior to moving to
Hillsborough and having her first child, Coach Adele was a 5th
grade teacher in Waldwick, NJ during the school year and the
Waterfront Director at Camp Veritans (North Jersey YMHA) in Wayne,
NJ during the summers. She also taught and coached swimming at the
YMHA during the school year.
After leaving competitive
swimming, Coach Adele continued to teach and coach swimming but
focused on running and amateur triathlons for herself. She has
competed in numerous road races ranging from 5Ks to marathons,
along with a variety of adventure races, triathlons and team
running events. In 2004, she qualified for the Boston Marathon and
successfully ran it in April of 2006, eight months after having
brain surgery (cranial decompression surgery for a condition called
"Chiari" - ask her about it and she'll show you the scar!). Her
last marathon (#7) was in April 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland. As of
now, marathons are taking a back burner to her family, but being
physically fit is always a #1 priority.
She holds a BA in English
from Springfield College as well as a post-graduate degree in
education from William Paterson University.
