Coaching Philosophy:

We will work hard, but more importantly, we will work smart. Without solid technique, there is a glass ceiling over how much a swimmer can expect to improve. My coaching mission is to remove this barrier, so the swimmer can advance as far as their talent and work ethic will allow. I don’t count the yards, I make our yards count. Stolen from Forbes Carlisle, the Doc Councilman of Australian swim coaches: “Our aim is not to produce a champion, but to provide an atmosphere where champions are inevitable.”
