Mikayla M West

AG1 at SAC

My name is Kayla West.
I have been competitively swimming for about five years; and I have been working in the aquatic environment as a Lifeguard for two years. I have also been working with children as a Swim Instructor for the past two years as well. This past summer I was an assistant coach with the summer swim league, The Piranhas’. This is my first year as a coach for SRST and I'm very excited to be apart of this team! I am currently a full time student and I hope to join EVCC's Nursing Program this upcoming year.

Natasza M Krajcovic

AG2 at SAC

Hi I'm Natasza. I've been swimming for about 20 years and I coached USS and high school swimming in Chicago and Boulder, CO. I have had the pleasure of watching my oldest daughter Zosia swim for SRST since she was 7.

During the day I teach math and write math curriculum while chasing my 4 year old around.

I look forward to seeing all my swimmers at the pool.

Ali Davis

AG1 at Mariner

Hi! My name is Ali Davis and I am excited to have the opportunity to coach the gold and silver groups at SAC! I was a competitive swimmer from age 8 through college. I swam for Issaquah High School (state champs!) and CWU (with Coach Ben!).

I am currently a teacher, a wife, and a mom to 3 active children. My youngest, Quincy, swims for the Stingrays and I am thrilled to be able to share my love for swimming with her!

I look forward to getting to know families and developing strong competitive swimmers!

Darrell D Cray

Site Mgr + AG1/AG2/SAC AMs - at Mariner

Completing my AA in business at Bellevue college, while also studying to obtain my project management certification. I am currently a Certified Pool Operator, a Certified Lifeguard, as well as a Certified Playground Safety Inspector.

In my spare time, I enjoy working on cars, sports, traveling, and being out in nature.

I've had a passion for swimming and being active since an early age. I grew up Swimming in lakes all over the PNW and enjoyed the ocean whenever my family traveled. My competitive swimming background includes four years’ varsity swim team for Mount Vernon High School. My professional coaching background includes 7 months running supplemental endurance & refinement courses for competetive AG1-AG2 swimmers in the king county area;

My coaching philosophy revolves around providing individual feedback, praise, and constructive criticism  in a non discouraging manner. I believe in personal goal setting and creating opportunities for healthy competition and team work in my practices, Throughout my training programs I like to promote the use of fundamental swimming, as well as the refinement of technique in all stages. In addition, increasing physical limits and endurance are a large part of our preparations for swim meets. Most importantly, I try to encourage having fun and being creative while swimming fast towards our goals.

I'm very exited and proud to be a part of SRST.

Sydnie T Chesley

Silver/Gold - SAC

My name is Sydnie Chesley. I graduated from Lake Stevens in June of 2017. I've lived in Lake Stevens for most of my life. I have competitively swam for 12 years and continue to have a passion for it. After high school I left for the Air Force boot camp, after getting about half way through I got medically discharged. It was a change in plans but I plan to get back on my feet and return to training in the future. However now I am committed to learning how to be the best coach I can be and help further the success of our swimmers on Stingray Swim Team.

Kaela N McKee

Senior Assistant - SAC

Kaela McKee

Born and raised in the Seattle area, I first got involved in the sport of swimming at a young age through the local summer league team. After swimming my first high school season, I really discovered my affinity for the sport and made the leap to compete with SRST. From 2013-2017 I swam for the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, NM); my primary events included sprint freestyle and the 100 and 200 backstroke.

In 2016, I completed my BA in Political Science at UNM and applied to the MBA program. After relocating back to the Pacific Northwest, I spent the better part of 2017 backpacking through Europe, while completing my master’s degree.

Professionally, I have had the pleasure of assisting with several Master’s clinics and one-on-one coaching scenarios. I also spent 5 months working as a pre-competitive coach for developing swimmers and volunteering with Jackson High School’s men’s team.

In my spare time, I enjoy getting active outdoors, watching baseball, and cheering on my alma mater’s sports teams (go Lobos!). It is a pleasure to be back and working with the same club team I have swam for all these years and I am looking forward to supporting the next generation of SRST swimmers!
