Coaching Staff

Stefan Bill



Stefan, an ASCA Level 5 international Age Group Coach, a 2015 ASCA/WSCA Fellow and TI Senior Coach, joined PST from St. Paul's School in London, where as Aquatics Director he successfully started and built an aquatics program from the ground up. Prior to St. Paul's, he was an Elite Swim Coach at TGI Healthworks in NYC. Stefan's wide experience ranges from teaching beginner, recreational and phobic swimmers of all ages to competitive swimmers competing at the highest national level in Switzerland, the UK and the US.


Robert Moreside



Robert has coached swimmers of all ages and abilities, ranging from the Novice Swimmer to Canadian Olympic and World Championship Swim Trials. He is an ASCA Level 3 certified coach, played a vital part in building the Long Term Athlete Development Model for the Canadian Swim Coaches Association and brings a true love for the sport of competitive swimming to PST. 

Colby Price



Colby joins us from Concord where he was a seasonal Assistant Coach for the Terrapins Swim Team; an instructor at Little Dipper Aquatic Center; and the Head Coach at Gehringer Park Swim Team.  Colby brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a knack for breaking swimming down into understandable terms and fun games for our swimmers! He attended a program in Kinesiology for sports training at Diablo Valley College and was Piedmont High School's Swim Team Head Coach for Spring, 2015, 2016 and 2019.

Daniel Kelly



Daniel started swimming at 8 years old and since then he has amassed a wealth of teaching experience in working as a swim instructor for the City of Walnut Creek, the YMCA and AquaTech. Currently he is working as a Behavior Technician for CARD and will be coaching the Green, Blue and Bronze Groups in the afternoons.

Brian Kiyoshi Kozono



Brian is happy to be part of the Piedmont Swim team as their new Strength and Conditioning Coach. He is a physical therapist for BIO PT as well as a sports medicine consultant for Cal Sports Med at UC Berkeley. Brian swam in high school locally at Oakland Tech, before attending UC Berkeley for undergrad, prior to earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at University of Southern California. His experience rehabbing and training athletes of all ages and skill levels makes him an ideal coach to help get the Piranhas moving better and stronger!
