Head Coach: Scott Williams
Coach Scott is returning for his fourth season as the head coach for the Wyomissing Wahoos. He grew up swimming in Cheshire, CT, and competed for 17 years for the Copper Valley Club, Cheshire YMCA, Cheshire High School, and Boston College. Coach Scott was elected to be a captain for both his high school and college teams, and he has coached for over 30 years in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Most recently, Coach Scott has been an assistant coach for the Reading YMCA Stingrays for 16 years. He is also a 5th grade teacher in the East Penn School District, and has taught there for 24 years. Coach Scott is looking forward to another fun-filled, memorable summer of coaching in Wyomissing!
Assistant Head Coach: Marlee Rickert
Coach Marlee is starting her first season as Assistant Head Coach for the Wahoos. She is a 2020 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School, and she just completed her first year at The George Washington University. Marlee is a Business major and a member of the GW Women's Swim Team. She began swimming at the Reading YMCA when she was 9 years old and spent her summers swimming for the Adamstown Gators. Marlee also swam for the Schuylkill Valley High School Swim Team, where she was captain her junior and senior year. She contributed to SV’s district-winning team titles all four years of her high school career. Marlee is excited for a fun and successful season as assistant coach for the Wahoos!
Assistant Coach: Elizabeth Gaspari
Coach Elizabeth is starting her first season as a coach for the Wyomissing Wahoos this summer. Elizabeth just recently completed her swimming career at Penn State. She graduated this past May with a bachelors degree in finance. In the fall she will be starting her financial advising career with Northwestern Mutual. Elizabeth graduated from Berks Catholic in 2017, and she swam and played water polo for Reading High. Elizabeth began swimming at age 6 when she started swimming for the Wyomissing Wahoos. She swam for the Wahoos from 2005 to 2017. She is very excited to be back with the Wahoos and is looking forward to a fun summer season!
Assistant Coach: William Fanning
Coach Will will be a part of the coaching staff on the Wyo Wahoos Swim Team for the first time this summer. He is 16, and will be a junior at Wyomissing Area High School this fall. William also plays water polo, runs on the track team, and is an avid swimmer. He has been swimming since the age of eight, and has been a part of several swim teams. He has been swimming with the Wahoos for the longest amount of time, and has made several friends while a part of this team. William is also a part of the Reading YMCA Swim Team and the Exeter High School Swim Team during the winter, and is excited for a new challenge in the sport of swimming. He is also eager to learn from Coach Scott, and to get to know our swimmers during this fun summer season!
