Logan Heaney

2020 Head Coach

Logan Heaney joins WCST as the 2020 Head Coach with a lifetime of swimming experience with the Walnut Creek Aquabears, College Park High School, and (currently) the University of the Pacific NCAA Division-I Swim Team.  This fall, Logan will be a Junior at UOP studying Athletic Training and Sports Medicine and comes from a strong coaching bloodline as his father, Michael, is the head coach of the year-round Walnut Creek Aquabears.  Logan is looking forward to bringing his passion and energy for the sport of swimming to WCST!

Coach Skyler returns as an assistant coach for the 2020 season!  Skyler Knoflick grew up swimming for Valley Vista Swim Team and was a multiple-time County finalist specializing in breastroke.  Skyler also has a passion for water polo and in high school was named Most Valuable Player for both his high school (Northgate) and the entire leage (Diablo Athletic League).  This fall, Skyler will be a sophomore at Fordham University and will continue to play water polo at the intercollegiate level.

Tess Beckon returns as an Assistant Coach for the 2020 season! This will be Tess' 14th year on Walnut Country! Tess is a senior at Northgate High School and has been coaching for the past 4 years. She has been a swimmer coach for WCST, given private lessons for The Crossings neighborhood, and currently works at Little Swimmers Swim School. Tess plans to go to college in the fall to study environmental science. She is excited and honored to have the opportunity to share her love for the team and help serve the community that has given her so many experiences and friends. Go Stingrays!
