Our Coaches

Our Coaching Staff is our biggest asset as a team!  We pride ourselves on a ACTIVE DECK of coaches FULLY ENGAGED with swimmers for every practice. Our coaches don't sit in chairs or stand at the end of the lane merely shouting instructions, they move about on the deck and are in the pool assisting with the youngest swimmers.

We believe active, positive coaching creates excellent swimming technique and is the foundation to success in this sport. We are blessed with many of our team athletes who volunteer to help coach our team and we also have a junior coaching program that develops coaches allowing our interested swimmers age 12 and older to help at practices for our younger age groups. This translates into a minimum of one coach per lane for most all practices. For the emerging swimmers in our youngest groups, we are able to provide a minimum of one coach and several others in the water in each lane for our swimmers. We utilize all areas of our pool to teach and if a swimmer needs special help on a particular technique, we have the staff to help them directly with individual instruction to ensure their success.

Swimming with the Kingfish is where it all began for me, and where my passion for swimming was sparked. My 13 years of competitive swimming have taken me from Kingfish summer league meets to the blocks at the U.S. Olympic Time Trials. I have a passion for swimming and training young athletes to reach their highest potential. I would love to work with Kingfish swimmers in either private or group clinics and assist in providing the tools for swimmers to accomplish personal goals.

I currently swim on the Ohio State Swim Club and hold the position of team captain on the National group. I recently committed to swim for Ohio State University starting in 2020. In 2016 I achieved a U.S. Olympic Trial cut in the 100-meter breaststroke and I had the opportunity to compete against some of the fastest swimmers in the world in Omaha, Nebraska. I am excited to be heading back to Omaha to swim the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke in the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials! I have swum in many U.S. National swim meets and had the opportunity to travel the country and talk with different Olympians during these meets. I have had the opportunity to receive great instruction and tips from these world-renowned swimmers that I love sharing with others.

I will be holding Kingfish Technique clinics and also group lessons and/or private lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   If you would like to sign up for private lessons, or group lessons please contact me through email or phone call/text message. If you would like to sign up for Kingfish Technique Clinics, visit this sign up!

There is no fee for the Kingfish technique clinics but there are fees for the privately arranged group and private lessons I am offering.  I look forward to being part of the great things the Kingfish will accomplish this summer!
