I am from Greenville, South Carolina and I have been a competitive swimmer for 11 years. I attended Wren High School and I plan to attend West Virginia University in the fall of 2020, where I will be swimming with my older sister, Lauren Beckish. I have been teaching swim lessons ever since I was 15. I also helped manage the swim team at my high school by assisting with  practices and writing the practices on some occasions. Swimming has always been a big part of my life and I love teaching! I have been able to work with anyone ages 3 to 65 and I’ve loved every minute of it! I am super excited to be able to Coach this year at Creekside, where I will be able to coach my little cousin!

My name is Kate McEvoy, and I am currently a freshman in high school at Ashley Hall School. I swam for the I’on Riptides in the summers starting when I was 7 years old and I fell in love with swimming! I started doing year-round competitive swimming for I’on when I was in 5th grade until I was in 8th grade, and now I swim for the Ashley Hall swim team in the fall. I love being around children and I can’t wait to start coaching this season!
